If you tell them you can't have gluten they will take special precautions to prevent cross contamination. Many gluten free options (including fries!) that are clearly marked on the menu. Tasty options for both adults and kids, although the PB&J wrap is a little weird - they mix the peanut butter and jelly together instead of spreading them on separately. My kids liked the chicken nuggets and I've really enjoyed the bowls.
Very pleased. We will return. G & K
My husband got the grilled fish taco bowl without the cotija cheese & chipotle-lime crema (We told them it needs to be dairy free and specifically called out these two items and they even repeated it back to us but it still came out with the crema but when it did come back correctly, it was delicious). It was a little spendy for lunch and considering how much food you got. The sweet potato fries were amazing, crunchy and soft and non greasy. The regular fries would have been good but ours came cold. I got the adult chicken strips. The gf batter was also vegan and tasty but the chicken itself was dry and they were more like oversized chicken nuggets...and there was only 4. I would definitely come back though to try something else. Lots of gf options. Cute outside sitting area.
Lots of healthy gluten free menu items including sweet potato fries. Staff were super helpful.
Staff acted like they knew what celiac was. However, I was severely glutened after eating here. I would recommend avoiding this place. Also, food seems to be very hit and miss depending upon what you order. Chicken burger was very bland and not juicy. Whereas, the Tex Mex wrap was very tasty.
Our celiac and nut-allergic daughters ate here safely. Staff were knowledgeable and all our allergies noted on the receipt and order ticket that goes through the kitchen, so we could see what they kitchen could see and confirm when we picked up the order. We all loved the Chicken Sandos, both fried (GF) and grilled. Actually everything we got was great. We were visiting Bend from Portland, where we have lots of GF restaurant options. But we really don't have anything like this that includes fast, healthy food options and burgers where we we feel safe eating with our celiac daughter. We would love to see a Life & Time in Portland (hint, hint).
