Delicious pork dumplings and shrimp rice! Had a whole gluten-free menu and was definitely coeliac friendly.
Delicious, but then I got sick. Cannot pinpoint what dish or if it was just cross-contamination.
There is a whole Gluten free menu that has so many options! It’s not 4 things that are gluten free it’s like 40!!! The staff was knowledgeable about gf and so nice!! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Will be going back!!
Food is always amazing. Go here Everytime we are in NYC. My wife loves their sweet and sour chicken. Can't say enough about this place other than it's a must try in NYC. They were gluten friendly well before everyone else. First time here was in 2011.
Good and very GF friendly. Food was good but not great. Best thing we had was the sushi roll.
I ordered GF Pad Thai. Food was decent but very dry. Delivery service was prompt and friendly. Great price for the food portion. Could have fed three people.
We were handed the gluten free menu when we walked in, this is standard for all patrons. The waiting staff had a good understanding of gluten free and assured me that the chef would take extra care with the preparation of my food. I feel quite safe eating here and he food was good too.
Not celiac friendly. Made the mistake of eating here twice, got very sick both times.
We tried this restaurant today and so glad we did! There were so many options I had difficulty deciding. I had the shrimp tempura and general tso’s chicken, both of which were delicious. The portions were large and the food was good. Ii am a sensitive celiac and did not get sick.
I ordered online their Thai style rice. Other than them getting my address wrong, they were great. I enjoyed the food and my stomach wasn't upset.
This location and their other on on Lexington are the only two places in NY that serve GF dumplings. They have a GF menu with a number of other items.
I was extremely excited for so many GF options. They even delivered the food reiterating that it was GF, yet I still got very sick. Disappointed I had this experience based on other reviews.
Celiac friendly the servers were very knowledgeable about gluten allergies
Love the wide ranging gluten free menu!!! We had delicious house fried rice, Kung Paola chicken with peanuts (Best weever had—-w/freshchopped green beans and carrots in it)... but would NOT recommend the pan seared pork dumplings: they were so doughy w/almost no pork stuffing... they were good and crispy on one side ONLY...-and soft and uncookedtasting in other side. On the whole a greatgluten free restaurant for Asian food offferings. Tiny restaurant- so wise to make reservations...
great food. fried pork dumplings were the best
Nice place, great knowledgeable service. Had the General Tso’s Chicken. All white meat very nicely prepared. Lots of other tempting items on the menu. I’ll be back! Didn’t get sick.
great find thanks to the previous reviewers. good food, good neighborhood, across the street from Carnegie Hall. and most importantly, very reasonably priced for the city.
Amazing food can't recommend enough!
Big gluten free menu! I had GF crispy general tso chicken and it was amazing! Didn’t get sick at all! Highly recommend
They have a huge gluten free menu and the staff is very knowledgeable about allergies. I got the house fried rice and steamed pork dumplings. The dumplings are amazing!! They have gluten free sushi options as well. They have separate plates for gluten free food and everything (square plates for gf and round plates for regular). Very impressed and a nice break from all the Italian gf places in the area
Delicious and safe! They take allergies seriously here.
I had delicious GF crispy general tso chicken. Very flavorful and not too spicy.
They have a dedicated GF menu with a celiac friendly procedure in place for preparation. They can also make some of their sushi and sashimi gluten free if asked. They clean the table and don’t bring soy sauce. Delicious and very knowledgeable, it’s been a long time since I’ve had pad Thai!
I was excited to try Chinese food, as I have not had any since my diagnosis more than two years ago. However, I was very disappointed. The food was mediocre at best. Service was initially very good, but after a change in servers, the service was very inconsistent. My dining partner had a great meal, but he is not gluten free. I appreciate having the option to eat here, but it is not a restaurant I would expect a the service was very inconsistent. My dining partner had a great meal, but he is not gluten free. I appreciate having the option to eat here, but it is not a restaurant I would expect to frequent. I will add however that there was no apparent cross-contamination, and I felt great after the meal. That's a huge plus.
delicious food, great gluten free menu, staff are nice, definitely a must go
Absolutely delicious! My celiac daughter's first time since diagnosis getting to eat fried sesame chicken. She's in heaven
Amazing! This was some of the best Chinese food I had ever had even though it was gluten free. You’d never know the difference. My son with a gluten allergy had never had Chinese food before and ate everything up. Wish I lived closer as I would order from here all the time.
Separate GF menu, SUPER fast service, and 100% safe food. I’m coming off a few days of being completely sick from Thanksgiving dinner, and I felt great after eating here.
I've only had delivery and it was disappointment. The sauce portion was very small but it was tasty and GF
Excellent knowledge about gluten free! Great good, quick, friendly service!
I have been eating here regularly for almost 8 years. They are diligent about keeping their customers safe and well fed. The pork dumplings are sinfully good and I have day dreams about the pad thai.
Gluten free menu, good service, ok prise!!
Ok. But not terribly good food. So so.
Even without asking you will get the glutenfree menu. Lot's of choice! I had a great meal!
Sooo many gluten free options! I had sweet and sour chicken, dumplings and fried rice. All of it was delicious! Comes in very large portions though. Service was great too. I didn't get a reaction! :))
A whole gf menu and great dumplings. Service is ok but convenient.
Unbelievable food and phenomenal service. Staff was very pleasant and seemed extremely knowledgeable about GF.
YUM! Huge plate sesame chicken, tons of broccoli. Too much for one person, should have split. Husband loved it too!
My daughter hadn't had Orange Chicken and dumplings since diagnosis. They were just like pre-gf and she loved both. Mongolian Beef was another favorite. Everything was great including the service.
I got the chicken fried rice as well as chicken & broccoli, sharing it with a gluten eater. We both loved it, didn't taste any different than normal Chinese food. It is on the pricey side for regular Chinese food, ($20-25 an entree) but it's New York so what do you expect. Overall 10/10 though, it tasted great
Dedicated, extensive GF menu and GF beer. Totally delicious and enormous portions
Huge menu. Huge menu. Huge menu.
A friend told me to try Lili's while in NYC. It was not disappointing! When I told my waiter I was GF she immediately brought me their GF menu. It was a nice menu with lots of options. I had shrimp fried rice. It was very good. My husband ordered soup off the "regular " menu and enjoyed it. I'll be sure to thank my friend for her tip!
Extensive GF menu. Shrimp & Vegetables & Sesame Chicken with brown rice entrees and Matahari and Rock shrimp sushi rolls are all simply divine! The manager is great and took great care in explaining their sanitation practices. No cross contamination here! Great tasting, clean GF option right across from Carnegie Hall.
Thrilled to find a GF Chinese place in the heart of the City! Will be back. Had pork dumplings, Tai fried rice and chicken with broccoli.
The food was just OK. They have a separate menu, but they basically just take out any of the gluten stuff in the food (no substitutes). The food in general is only satisfactory.
Always trust this restaurant, great food!!! My whole family orders off the gluten free menu because it is so good!
Ask for gluten free menu. Food was fantastic! Lots to choose from. place very clean. service very helpful, friendly and attentive.
Service was very slow. Restaurant was dirty (my water glass had lipstick on it, every table cloth was stained). Food was mediocre. There are much better celiac-friendly options in the city.
FABULOUS!!!! GF sweet and sour chicken for the win. Huge portion too. Very knowledgeable and had gf soy sauce. GF food comes on square plates.
