I ordered gluten free pizza. Afterwards, I was sick for five days. I don't know if it was cross-contamination or I was given a gluten pizza instead of a gluten-free pizza. When I called, the staff was very apologetic. But that did not lessen my symptoms.
We had a great experience here. I really enjoyed the gluten free pesto e pollo pasta and the Rose Prosecco. I didn’t get sick afterwards (which I often do after eating at Italian places, despite them saying they take precautions). 10/10 recommend this place to celiacs.
Such a nice little place. Called ahead for reservations after space needle visit. About a 15 minute walk from the needle. They verified their understanding of gluten issues, and even asked if the whole group needed GF. I had the Penne Pasta e Pollo. And it was very tasty. I finished with the cheesecake and was overstuffed. The cheesecake is crustless and awesome.
Fantastic GF options. Pasta, Pizza and flourless chocolate cake was to die for.
They have a separate GF menu, and pasta is delicious! Can’t wait to go back to try the pizza. Great atmosphere and staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They explained to me how the GF pasta will take a little longer as they prepare it completely separately, which made me feel safe.
My son had the GF pizza and said it was the best GF pizza he's had. We were a little worried about the chance of cross-contamination, but he did not get sick. We told the waiter he had celiac, and asked that they be careful.
Ambiance was nice and the drinks were good. But I got sick from the food. Had a Cesar salad, gf penne pasta and flourless chocolate cake. I immediately started to bloat and had a back stomachache for hours after. My bf is just gluten sensitive not celiac like me and he also got sick from his gf pizza. My guess is all the cross contamination.
Absolutely spectacular place for GF dining. The staff are very knowledgeable and are easily able to describe all the various GF options, especially pizza and pasta options. The appetizer Burrata salad and GF pizza are among the best we ever had. We are visiting from out of town but will be back before we leave to try more of the GF options. Everything sounded so good, it was difficult to choose, so we’re going back for more!
Staff was very knowledgeable and reassuring. All of our food was tasty, but the gf pizza was incredible. I couldn’t stop eating it… would absolutely eat here again.
We stopped in for an early dinner on Sunday and had amazing fuss and service! We split a Piatto di Salumi app without the bread (they don’t have GF bread) but it was still outstanding. I tried their pizza special of the day, a prosciutto and arugula pizza, which was fantastic! The crust was the best, but the topping combo and sauce were a great combination. All of their pizzas are GF so that made it easy. My partner had the gluten-filled Italian sausage pasta special, which he really liked too. I didn’t have any reaction afterward and had really enjoyed the leftover pizza for lunches. Highly recommend this place!
Very knowledgeable staff, excellent food and service!
The gf pasta was delicious! My husband said it was the best pasta he's ever had. The owner was so nice and told us how important it is for them to offer gluten free options to accommodate those with food allergies. They have gf flourless chocolate cake too, but we were too full to eat dessert this trip. I can't wait to go back and try the pizza! Definitely a must try.
We tried out Limoncello based on the good reviews here, but the dinner we had there was disappointing. The eggplant parmesan that we ordered comprised of two slices of gilled eggplant (with the inedible skin inexplicably left on) over a bed of penne covered with a bland tomato sauce. Perhaps I’m spoiled because I’m married to an Italian who knows how to make great GF pasta, but if the meal we had was indicative of the quality of the food they offer, you can do much better elsewhere.
I’m a huge fan of Limoncello. I’ve been coming here since they opened a few years ago and the owner has always been kind and accommodating to my gluten intolerance. The food is amazing, but more importantly, the owner has created a gluten free menu. All of the pizza is gluten free and it’s very very good.. my husband, who is not even GF, says it’s his favorite pizza in Seattle. There’s GF pasta and other amazing options as well. The owner takes care to prepare gluten free dishes in a separate area to avoid contamination. When available, the cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake are also both super tasty and gluten free. I highly recommend trying out this charming restaurant. It is my favorite place to go for a yummy gluten free meal.
This little Italian restaurant has amazing food! We have a family of celiac and dairy allergies, but not only did the owner and staff help us order from the gluten free menu they even suggested things not on the menu. The food was so amazing we had to wonder if it would be safe, but everyone came out full, happy, and safe. They made sure to cook our food in a separate area without us asking and the gluten and dairy free food was amazingly tasty. Great atmosphere and and amazing owner and staff. We will definitely be back!
