How do I start this review.. I cannot comment on the food as I didn’t get a chance to eat! We walked in.. after several minutes the fellow behind the counter acknowledged us, he asked if we had a reservation, we didn’t. He told us we can’t sit by the window the seats near the wall. And it would be a 25-30 minutes wait to order.. might I add, we were the only ones their, and they were opened a good few hours already.. We walked we walked over to the seats he pointed to. Their fans and other equipments were in the seats and stacked around the floor.. where we are supposed to be seated at. We moved it. Because he clearly didn’t seem to care. I got up and asked to use the bathroom, “yea, I don’t think it’s working” I responded, “you think or it’s not working “ he answered, “yea not it’s not, sorry.” And just went in his way. We’re still in a Pandemic, where was I supposed to wash my hands, also, how do you serve food and NOT have a “working” bathroom. I was truly disappointed. I felt extremely uncomfortable the minute we walked in. It was as if we were a bother and walked into their home and was demanding food from their table! I had to share how this establishment made me feel. I definitely got the feeling I was the wrong skin color. But we did not let them kill our Vibes on this Memorial Day. We stumbled upon The Butcher’s Daughter on Metropolitan Ave. Which was absolutely delish Gluten-free and Vegan too! Try them for real customer service for all skin color!
