No GF menu. Waitress said just order something without wheat. I asked for GF suggestion and she said chicken tacos on corn tortilla and rice with beans. I was VERY sick. I feel the rice and/or chicken tacos did it.

No menu, got very sick

Good place otherwise.

A manager told me that the tortillas are made in a dedicated fryer, the hard shell tacos are safe, and shredded chicken is the only safe meat. Limited options but I had no problems.

The server told us the corn chips are fried in a dedicated fryer, and then he went to check to make sure and came back to confirm. This alone is hard to find at Mexican restaurants so that was a major perk. The server asked if it was preference or celiac and when we told him celiac he was vigilant to make sure we understood what was safe or not. There are not a lot of options though, he could pretty much list everything gluten free on one hand, but my celiac daughter only wanted rice and beans anyway. She loved the rice, it was more like Mexican fried rice with veggies in it. But for an adult, there wouldn’t be many safe entree’s.

We didn’t even get past the hostess who when we inquired about the GF menu rolled her eyes and said they had “nothing gluten free.” As we left a waitress called out that they do have a GF menu but no way was I going to chance it if the employees can’t all be trained to be on the same page.

This restaurant doesn't have a gluten free menu even though this app says it does. The hostesses and servers did not know anything about gluten free choices. I didn't eat the chip and ordered corn enchiladas. I got sick. Food was good. Staff was friendly, they have no business being listed as Gluten Free in this app.

Absolutely not celiac safe (or friendly). Asked hostess if they had gf options, She said they had corn chips. Ok, but other gf options for a meal? She repeated "CORN!" And huffed at me. Going by other reviews, I assumed the wait staff would be more knowledgeable. Server was very abrupt and rude when we asked what gf options were available and he said "MAYBE a salad" and was clearly annoyed. I was so disappointed...I felt like I was a complete bother and had no confidence even a salad would come out safe. And they do have corn chips...in a non dedicated fryer. I ended up not eating while others in my party did. Should not be listed As gluten free at all. Go to margaritaville in pigeon forge or 50s hot rod cafe in Knoxville where they are glad to get your business and don't act irritated by your gf questions. Clearly don't need or want gluten free business. Pathetic.

No dedicated fryer but I haven't had issues. I love the 6 layer dip, nachos, and tacos!

1st server was not well informed about the menu and what did or did not have gluten. The 2nd server seemed more knowledgeable, yet did not know what was in the "Mexican butter". I ordered the chicken fajitas and only ate the chicken and vegetables- it also came with Spanish rice and beans - I did not eat those as I was skeptical of the servers knowledge base.

The hostess and waitress were knowledgeable about being gluten free. They both told me the chips were corn, not flour, and told me what I could eat. They do not have a dedicated gluten free menu, yet the choices were plenty. I had a Carne asada with chimichurri sauce, beans, rice, and guacamole. a very delicious, flavorful, and filling meal. I will go back if I travel to Gatlinburg again.
