the food and drinks were good except what i was really excited about was the churros and they were disappointing. i could tell they used a flour mix with garbanzo due to the aftertaste. they should use something more neutral like rice based flour mix.

We had such a great experience here! It’s a little pricey for Mexican, but our food was absolutely delicious and our server made me feel super safe. They have a dedicated fryer which is always a win and even though my boyfriend specified that he didn’t have an allergy, when they brought his out, they said they had prepared it safely anyways. They even had churros which were incredible! We will definitely be back!
I was a little nervous because it was loud and I wasn’t sure how communication with the waitress was going to go. She was very knowledgeable and aware of all the safety protocols. She mentioned the owner has a relative with celiac so they make sure they go above and beyond with their prep. Almost everything could be gluten free, and the menu was clearly marked. The fryer is dedicated gluten free so you can eat the chips! I had the guacamole and the rice bowl with shrimp. If felt safe and I would eat here again.
Very loud and fun bar and restaurant with so many gluten free options. Our server was awesome and knew I was the only gf one. He assured me the chips (which were amazing, homemade & Doritos-like) and my meal (Barria tacos) were gf. It was not flagged coming out. The tacos were so amazing and it’s been one of my favorite and most normal feeling dinner with friends in a long time!
Almost the whole Menu is GF! I think the only thing that wasn’t was the quesadilla. I ate both the chips and guac and fried fish tacos and didn’t get sick (qualifier- I’m newly diagnosed as celiac and not quite sure how sensitive I am yet).
The staff was very nice and said she checked everything with the kitchen.
The entire menu except for two items was gluten free! Delicious tacos, enchiladas, and tortilla chips! Will definitely be going back again!
