Service was good and server seemed knowledgeable. When we first walked in though, I asked to see the gluten free menu knowing they had one as I had seen it online. The manager handed me a very nice thick menu. The "gluten wise" (as they call it) menu was missing from it so I had to go off of the allergens lists which were fine, just not set up in terms of what meals you can eat. Ordered a steak as I figured any amount of cross-contamination with that meal would at least be small. Asked the server about the seasoning. She asked management about it as it was not listed an the allergens list. They said it was mostly just salt but recommended I leave it off so I did. I felt pretty confident in the salad. The server said the cook just puts lettuce in bowls and th en she adds the toppings so she said there would be no co-mingling of gloves in crouton bowls and salad bags. The ranch dressing was awesome. However when my steak came it was slathered in lemon butter. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind lemon butter at all. But usually butter for grill items is 1 bucket that cooks continually stick the same knife in repeatedly then slather over every grill item, some of which could be contaminated. Since they had been so good about the salad and the server had talked to the management about my meal beforehand, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Whoops. 30 minutes later I was popping Pepto to keep the symptoms at bay. It's unfortunate because the service would have been great if I had been served something that didn't make me sick.
