The person serving our food did not seem particularly knowledgeable and also seemed a little irritated by questions, so I didn't ask as many questions as I might have. The menu had gluten free items marked, but there was a discrepancy on the menu about whether the chile rellenos were gluten free. However, I was told they were gluten free. They are a type of relleno that is unbreaded and not fried, so the risk of cross contamination should be relatively low. I ordered a mushroom enchilada and cheese chile relleno via the combo plate, which included beans and rice. I also had chips (which I was told are cooked in a frier used only for chips) and salsa. I did not have any readily apparent reaction.
