I showed my gluten-free card and the lady was a bit confused at first. Luckily she had a poster with vegetables and pointed to each of them and asked if I could eat it. With a little communication she ended up making me fried vegetables with plain rice. Not the most exciting meal but it tasted good.
First time eating gluten free in Thailand and of a great start. I had a nice green curry. The owner was aware of gluten and even showed the specific gluten free bottles for the sauces, which made me confident it would be alright. I am anasymptomatic celiac so I never know for sure, but I loved it! 🤩
Male server very knowledgeable and lovely - went here based off of other reviews. As stated, he says his daughter has a gluten allergy and can adapt anything on menu. Says he sometimes has gluten free soy sauce but this is hard to find and didn’t when we were there, told us the brand was Megachef which we later found. Green curry was great. Noodle soup was not the best, basically hot water.
Also, knew about nut allergy and adapted menu for this too.
Gave us recommendations for getting away from tourist traps on local boats at low cost.
went here after seeing a review. The man was so lovely, showed him the thai gluten-free card and then he said his sister I think was coeliac. Explained how he wouldn’t use soy sauce etc and I got to pick what I’d like and he’d adapt it for me. No ill affects afterwards.
Showed her my gluten-free Thai card, she said „I know“ and told me, she didn’t use soy sauce in her Green Curry and didn’t have any Maggi. I trusted her, even though I am not 100% sure, it was celiac safe. Her English was not good, but I trust she understood what the card said. The curry was tasty and I didn’t have any problems afterwards.
