Busy and crowded little pizza place but I can see why, we got the roasted garlic pizza and it was one of the better pizza’s I’ve had since going gluten free, like I said it was a small place with a small kitchen so careful if you are sensitive to cross contamination. I didn’t ask about the pasta being gluten free so can’t say anything about that.
LPA has been our go-to pizza spot for almost a year. We’re regulars, ordering or dining in monthly. The wait staff has always been friendly and accommodating, especially considering my Celiac disease. However, our recent experience was disappointing.
Our waitress was rude and dismissive when we requested gluten-free precautions, insisting gluten ‘cooks off.’ We continued to be polite despite this. When she went to pass along our order, she kept gesturing towards our table while appearing visibly upset.
I typically don’t leave negative reviews because my symptoms usually start three days after exposure. So, if there’s any uncertainty, I hesitate to attribute it to a specific place. However this time my husband got sick from this meal as well, which is rare.
Most amazing gluten free pizza. I had roasted garlic. Soooo good.
Probably the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. I ate it because I was hungry! It basically tasted like a wrap which had marinara and cheese. It also took ages to get the food. My families food was ok but not gf!
This is a fantastic place to eat! I got the GF crust for the Little Italy pizza and it was fantastic! No issues for this Celiac! Going back this weekend!
Wonderful atmosphere with great charm. Staff was friendly & attentive. GF pizza was amazing! Their infused olive oil the table was fabulous! 5 Stars!
Great spot across from the market. Good pizza, only one size. Also had a GF brownie Ala mode.
Delicious gluten free pizza options! Our waitress was sure to bring the GF item out first
I was SOOOOO happy to find this place during our trip to NOLA! Their GF pizza was AMAZING! And they also had GF pasta options and GF desserts!
My best meal in NOLA during the whole trip!
Great food and there was even gluten free dessert! There was nothing on the menu about what was gluten free other than you could get gluten free pizza crust or pasta, so I was a little hesitant about what pasta options I could order. I played it safe with the bolognese and it was great!
Would have given 5 stars if they could get the dishes out anywhere close to together. Food is very good, large servings. Had the GF pasta jambalaya. Very tasty. But watched it cool on the counter for at least 15 minutes before we insisted they bring it to us. The pizza took yet another 15 minutes to get.
Amazing pizza!!! They got it out super quick too! Everything can be made gluten free and the crust tastes amazing. Couldn’t even tell it was gluten free!
Great experience! Our waitress was very conscientious, double-checked items for us to be sure it was safe. We ordered a Margarita pizza and a Greek pizza on GF crust, both excellent!
Great staff, who were knowledgeable about Gf. GF Pizza was amazing!
very nasty rude individual who responded on the phone to the question about gluten allergies when questioned about the ingredients in wheter contaminants of gluten are taken from toppings and cheese and carried from that to the gluten-free pizza and other words do they open fresh bags of cheese do they get fresh pepperoni or they using the same ones they dip their hands into full of gluten he hung up on me! Yes he hung up rudely , do not recommend this place
We ordered a gluten free Margarita, which arrived on an aluminium foil tray. Not amazing but hit the spot after a long day of walking around NOLA. Service is slow...forgot drinks etc but friendly enough.
I was unimpressed. I was SUPER excited for my margarita pizza but it came to me black as black. When I asked if it was supposed to be this dark I was told that it wasn’t burned on the bottom and that it was a brick oven with no temps and done by hand (So pay effing attention to your specialty orders!!??) Or I could wait for a new pizza. I’d been traveling from SLC and was to tired and starving, So I just ate my ‘not’ burned pizza. I’m certain it was just an Udi’s pizza crust, so if you’ve had one you’re not missing anything. service was crappy, price was high, pizza was bland. Got one star cause the ambiance was fun.
Warning, gf “pasta” is actually zucchini noodles for those of you looking for a carb load. Was kind of disappointed when I found that out after I ordered.
I'm a pretty sensitive celiac and I felt fine after eating here. The pizza wasn't bad and they have Crispin cider bottles. The waiter warned me that there's a lot of flour in the air and I had to do a little explaining about CC, but overall they were very accommodating.
Excellent cheese pizza last night. Would recommend. No problems later.
Had the Greek pizza on gf crust which was delicious! I have a strong allergy and am not celiac; felt fine afterwards.
Really great place with really great service! They do not have a dedicated kitchen area, but if your gluten issues are not severe this is a total find. You absolutely must try the grilled artichokes. So amazing!
Friendly service, and I enjoyed the Gluten free Hunter's Chicken with its Grilled chicken breast served in a classic cacciatore sauce of garlic, onion, tomatoe, rosemary and wild mushrooms served with gluten free rotini.I will be back tomorrow for the gluten free pepperoni and bacon Marinara and mozzarella cheese pizza.
