Ate here as been to one local to home and was impressed. It had a large GF menu with lots of options.
I was not able to order online and had to go to the bar with being a special order and Coeliac. When I ordered I was told what I had picked, despite being on a GF menu, it could have wheat in and it was up to me to decide if I wanted the nasi goreng or not. I opted to have a falafel sandwich on GF bread which passed the safety recommendation.
I was asked to read a disclaimer about the kitchen handling gluten etc. and was told my food would take longer (which I don’t mind if specially catered to)
My food came out first which was a surprise. It tasted great.
The server at the bar was quite sharp and short with me - maybe this was because it was lunch time but it felt like I was an inconvenience.
Would still recommend the lounges. I’ve certainly had a better experience pre ordering my meals from other sites though.
Been to Cinco a few times since I was diagnosed celiac & most of the options I liked previous I can still have GF. I’m vegetarian so had both the beyond burger meal with fries & the halloumi burger & fries. Both meals were great & accommodating. You just have to make sure you order at the bar to ensure they make everything GF & away from other food. Staff are always friendly, vibes & overall place are great. Plus it’s dog friendly.
*I need to update my review as I’ve since discovered all their desserts are a ‘May contains’ but it won’t say that on the menu. You have to check the ‘allergy matrix’ to find this out. Now I know why I was having symptoms two days after I ate a chocolate brownie here. Seems like restaurants have different rules for labelling what’s gluten free. The gf mains are mostly safe but make sure to check. For somewhere that has a gluten free menu and such a good reputation among the gluten free community I’m shocked. I’ll update this if that changes*
Only been for a tea and cake but they took my dietary very seriously and it’s served separately from non gluten with a little red flag. Would feel confident to eat here for a lovely breakfast. Caters well for vegans and vegetarians too. Not sure if they have a separate fryer so would be best to ask.
