I've been coming here for 4 years and it's amazing and I've never gotten sick. I eat here probably once a week so I think some of the staff know my name. I get the lovebird sandwich on a gluten free wrap and fries. Best fries I've ever had and their lovebird sauce is unreal. I bring the bucket of popcorn chicken to parties and hangouts and everyone loves it. Their normal fried chicken is great, fried pickles with spicy mayo are so good, beet salad is delicious, and I've heard the normal sandwiches are really good too. All gf friends and non-gf friends enjoy it here and regularly ask to get food from here together. Best place ever!!!!!!!!

Delicious and fresh offerings! So tasty. Would absolutely eat here on the regular if we were locals. Most everything is GF - although no GF bread option for sandwiches (GF wrap instead) if you were counting on that. So nice to have GF fried chicken and fries made in separate fryer. This is mostly take-out. There are a few seats at a bar along the windows but no tables.

Everything is GF - and oh the fried pickles are amazing. The Bella salad with crispy fried chicken is delicious. And what a treat to eat fries. We stop every time we are in the area. Wish they’d expand to northern NJ!

It is worth the drive from NJ. Crisp, juicy, flavorful chicken. They also have Mac and cheese that tastes like what you were used to eating before you were diagnosed a celiac. They have GF cookies on the counter, too. Sugar, chocolate chip and double chocolate. EVERYTHING is GF except the brioche bun.

Great GF option to feed hungry teen/adult boys! We ate here twice over a week in Philly. Bit of a drive from the city, but we stayed at the city line so only about 20 min to Bryn Mawr with traffic. Completely GF menu--even the mac & cheese. Chicken was tasty and crispy--sandwich even more so (but NOT GF bread, so don't mix orders). Friendly and helpful staff. Small eat-in area, only 6 stools, but brisk carry out and door dash business.

The chicken popcorns were so hard they were overcooked and the fried chicken was extremely salty and drenching in oil. I had a weird after taste and a bad stomach ache right after eating it. I do not recommend.

SO so good. Will definitely be coming back. Everything on the menu is gluten free except for their brioche buns, and they offer a gf wrap instead for us gf peeps. I ordered a single popcorn chicken, which comes with a side. I got fries and added a mac & cheese, bc yes. The portions of the fries and chicken were huge, even without the mac & cheese, I could have split the meal with another person. It’s definitely a grab & go place. They have 3 chairs for waiting and that’s it, but there’s a small park just a few blocks away with picnic tables and benches for you to enjoy your meal on a cool evening. Excited for my leftovers I saved for tomorrow!

You can get essentially everything on the menu GF (everyting is GF except for the rolls for their sandwiches, but they offer GF wraps and lettuce wraps). Ive never had such good GF mac n cheese - or fried anything, let alone everything. I was so excited I ordered almost everything (mac n cheese, fried pickles, fried chicken, popcorn chicken, fries, brussels, slaw, all the sauces). It was delish!

Manager assured me the only thing containing gluten are the brioche rolls. Tell them you are celiac and they will keep your food safe. Delicious fried chicken. Dedicated gf fryer (first time I ate fries in over a year, yum!) Have ordered take out several times and never got sick. My go to place for take out!

First off, let me say I love fried chicken. The fact that most of the food here is gluten free is awesome. I do think there is room for improvement with taste. The chicken isn’t super crispy, but it is flavorful. Love the spicy honey. I was disappointed in the Mac and cheese. The consistency was odd - almost like it was from the day before and not fully microwaved. What was supposed to be creamy was pretty coagulated. The fried pickles were very hard and the pickles were dried out. Again, the novelty of this place is awesome, but the food could improve in quality - especially for the price.

Hands down the best fried chicken and best French fries I’ve had since being diagnosed celiacs 6 years ago. Their Brussels sprouts were amazing too. The staff was so friendly! Also, I have a 7 year old with a soy allergy and their frier does not have any soy in it! It was all good

EVERYTHING MINUS BUNS = GLUTEN FREE!! I am celiac and I can eat safely at lovebird and have since they opened their Bryn Mawr Location (have safely eaten at Doylestown location as well). The sandwich buns are not gluten free but can be supplemented with a wrap which is (I would also recommend). Hand cut fries, mac and cheese, and sandwiches (wraps) are all beyond good.
