Excellent GF options! They are using ancient grains for their pastas & I had no allergy symptoms; they claim their grains are easier to digest but would appreciate input from others w/ celiac…

I had a wonderful dinner at Luci Ancora. I had heard that they were Celiac friendly, but called on my way to double check. They said that they would start bringing a fresh pot of water to boil for my gluten free pasta. I ended up having a delicious salad and chicken dish without pasta, but I appreciated the gesture! The server was very knowledgeable, and steered me clear of a salad that incorporated cooking on the grill. I had delicious GF creme brulee for dessert, but next time will try the flourless chocolate torte. And bonus - I felt 100.% fine after dinner.! I would put Luci Ancora at $$$ rather than $$ as listed - more of a nice night out kind of place. They have a four course tasting meal, or you can just order ala carte. There's a special price on Tues and Thurs nights (I think). Looking forward to going there again!!
Yes
The menu is from scratch so they say they can accommodate many special diets. The housemate pasta is done with a heritage wheat that they say is acceptable for gluten-sensitive diners but no for true celiac.
For Valentine's Day they had a 4 course tasting menu and each course had at least one GF option, for the pasta course there was a risotto and they offered to make the other pasta choices as risotto. The normal menu is well-marked for GF with many choices and the staff were knowledgable and happy to verify ingredients with the kitchen.
