the host, who i think was actually the manager, sat us and reassured me everything on the menu that could be made gluten free and why. there were such great explanations and care taken. i was hoping for fish and chips, but when asked about fryer dedication he verified with the chefs and they confirmed celiac fears of gluten contamination from their breakfast menu, so the fish and chips are not actually safe for celiacs due to risk of cross contamination in the fryers. hopefully this will help someone else, I’m grateful for his transparency and going the extra mile to confirm for me and my belly! my husband got the fish and chips as a gluten eater and loved it. the braised lamb was a great plan B meal that left me satisfied.
No gf menu..they were out of one of the few options for warm dishes. The food was good, but we were a little disappointed with the amount of options. I think this is one of the places that kind of depends on the waiter you have. Ours was finishing his shift, and we got someone new at the end. Not bad, but not the most exciting.
Server was knowledgeable about GF. The GF menu that is posted in the app is no longer used. Instead they tell you what’s GF but also bring an allergen card to the table to show you. Super helpful. The fish and chips are GF! And excellent. Made in their own fryer with GF ingredients. Also the brownie for dessert was GF. Am celiac and had no issues. This place is terrific.

Very knowledgeable staff who were eager to advise and serve. Had lamb and vegetables. Very delicious and tasty. They had a number of options on the menu and were more than willing to accomodate to ensure gluten free. Can't wait to return.

Lovely restaurant on the Royal mile. No gf menu but they have a complete list of allergens and the staff are well versed. Recommend this restaurant as it’s reasonably priced for the area and has great food and service
Menu does not say gluten-free but we're informed that about 60% can be made GF. Ordered the Fish & Chips GF. Was great. Staff very pleasant and friendly.
Food is amazing. I had the pulled pork on gf bread and a steak sandwich on gf bread and both were incredible.Staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend if you are near by.
They didn’t have a GF menu printed the day we went but the server went through every item on the menu, most were safe, and they were clearly knowledgeable about safe preparation. The fish and chips were delicious (HUGE serving size) and the pulled pork was even better. Highly recommend.
There’s a separate gluten-free menu and staff were very accommodating. Really nice to have an entire menu to choose from and not just a single token option. My Cullen Skink was excellent and came with gluten-free bread on the side. The warm pea and feta salad was also really good, and I believe it was exclusive to the gluten-free menu. Also good for dairy free.
