My husband and I loved going out for Chinese food and we miss it so much so when I stumbled across this place we just had to go!!! This place is delicious and considerate! Honestly the most empathetic response a server has ever given me. She said “oh wow, I’m sorry you have to experience this. We’ll take care of you.” Previous reviewer’s comments about basically their version of GF is anything made with a white sauce, is correct, that’s how they see it. I took a previous reviewer’s recommendation and got the garlic chicken with a side of steamed rice - soooo good!! We shared it because the serving is a big portion! We also split a cup of egg drop soup (without the crunchy add-ons of course). We didn’t experience anything that could allow me to speak on the safety aspect, I just hope and pray that the empathy is a good display of their care
Very happy with the staff. They immediately did a separate container marked gluten free at the takeout line and sent my order back to the kitchen instead of along the order line. I have eaten in and at home without incident multiple times. I recommend avoiding anything fried or with the possibility of containing soy sauce. Lots of options in the white sauce.
Lucky Chinese has two sections, a dine in and take out section. Their version of gluten free is basically anything on their menu in a white sauce rather than a brown sauce, aka made with corn starch instead of soy sauce. The take out is a little limited because it's not their full menu. They're egg drop soup is gluten free, as is their Singapore noodles as a side. The food itself is decent. Not the best I've had, but good compared to most take out.Oh, and the do have gluten free soy sauce packets under the counter on the take out side. Many employees don't know this but you can get them.
