The sign says they have gf ans vegan pizza. I asked if I could get gf crust with real meat and real cheese and was told yes. I verified again before paying that my pizza would have regular pepperoni and cheese making it clear I did not want vegan. I waited 30 minutes for my pizza and it finally comes out very obviously vegan. I again tell the cashier hey I did not want vegan. She argues with me that it's not vegan and that is just what the gf pepperoni looks like. I ask the kitchen staff about it and who I assume was the kitchen manager comes out. She confirms that the pizza is in fact vegan and that the gf pizza only comes vegan. I let her know to please teach the cashier that and I asked for a refund. This is great if you are also dairy free/meat free. But I definitely am not which is why I made sure to repeatedly confirm what I was ordering.
Stopped by Lumberjacks Pizza by Dropline for water and I noticed they had a Gluten "friendly" pizza option. I asked the guy and he said they have a gf crust and separate utensils and pans. I did not think to ask about ingredients from the back or if the oven was convection until I was walking away but I might consider it next time.
They make their own crusts in-house using flour so there's no way it is safe for anyone with celiac.
My son enjoyed his gf pizza. It did take about 10 minutes longer, but worth the wait and was handled by the manager. He had no reaction and is very sensitive!
Burger is awesome! GF bun soft and delicious. Staff very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Very good GF pizza. Handmade in a designated GF area. Baked in the oven with regular pizza but on a pan to keep it safe. Then delivered to the table by itself because they don't put it on a tray with regular pizza. Takes an extra 15 minutes to cook but well worth the wait. No inside seating.
The pizza was good. Not excellent, but I didn't really expect that it would be since it was inside an amusement park. I would def. get the cheese pizza again if we went back. The staff was accommodating about changing their gloves and washing hands, which is always nice. I'm not sure how much it cost as my mother-in-law paid for it while I was in the bathroom. I did have to wait longer than everyone else b/c gluten pizza is already cooked if you get it by the slice. Not a terrible inconvenience, but good to know if you are in a hurry or ravenous.
This is located in Dollywood. They have a dedicated kitchen area for pizza. It's a simple cheese or pepperoni pizza. They change their gloves. Now the pizza is cooked on the same oven but it is on its own pan. Overall they do everything they can to provide no contamination. My boys loved the pizza!!!
