The first time I went I talked to my server about cross contamination and I ended up getting the Esquite and Mushroom Tacos. I didnt eat the chips and salsa as the fryer is contaminated. Had been back a few times and felt sick all times, like they progressively got worse with Cross Contamination
I placed an order with them on uber eats following the denoted menu on their website and then they called and told me that the items I picked were fried in the same fryer with gluten. Apparently the only gluten free protein option for any dish is mushrooms even though it denotes like five different things gluten free online. I guess I’m glad they called and let me know so I didn’t get sick but this would have been the second time I ordered there and they said nothing the first time (I did in fact get sick that first time but assumed it was due to spicy food). It’s just disheartening that depending on who you talk to you may get sick, and that majority of the menu’s actual gf options are false
The menu has many offerings that are GF and the owner and staff are very knowledgeable. The restaurant is Vegan so it is totally dairy free. We tried many dishes and they were all delicious! They had a GF vegan Flan for dessert that was amazing! Enjoy!
