I was so excited to find this place but they’ve made me sick twice. I ordered curry and plain rice a couple times with no problems. So many things are labeled gf on the menu, and I got adventurous. The noodles and stir fry dishes both made me very sick. I would avoid anything with soy sauce. I’d stick to curries if you decide to eat here. But I wouldn’t consider this place safe for celiacs.
So many things labeled GF on the menu made me excited. I never get to eat Pad see ew! Unfortunately the GF version was completely dry - just cooked rice noodles and some veg. Nothing else.
We ordered a beef appetizer with a soy sauce based dipping sauce. I assumed they were using tamari or something because it was labeled GF on the menu (and I specified gluten free). My immediate bloating and stomach pains tells me otherwise!
Service was great, and staff was lovely. I wouldn’t go back as a celiac, though.
There was one bad review and mostly good reviews when I ordered, so I tried my best. I ordered gluten-free awesome on curry and gluten-free drunken noodles, the noodles had gluten in it according to my name a sensor, I’m awesome on curry was gluten-free, but I ordered not spicy and it was the spiciest thing I’ve ever tasted, I would never order from this chain ever again
Hate to break it to everyone, but I ordered drunken noodles and tom ka soup for takeout. Both were labeled gluten free on the menu. Called to make sure they were careful and told them I had celiac. Tested both with my nima - drunken noodles had gluten and soup was fine. Stick with soups I guess
It has been so long since I’ve had not only good Thai food but now gluten free Thai food. Omg I’m in heaven. Ordered pad see ew green curry and chicken satay all mild and what can I say all super fresh and flavorful. The green curry is still a bit spicy because they use traditional Thai spice levels. Wish I could have ordered mango sticky rice through Postmates. That’s my only complaint lol. Signed your fellow celiac
Regular menu clearly marked. Delicious. So many options. My fave Thai in the neighborhood. Made Eater’s essential LA restaurants this year.
More gluten free items than not, all clearly marked on menu. Actually able to eat pad see yew (a favorite before celiac diagnosis). Also had pad plig khing, regular fried rice and spicy basil fried rice because my whole family ordered gf items. So yummy! No tummy issues! Fresh food, friendly staff. Careful with spice level though because it's quite traditional and even the mild was spicy.
