I love this place have been a customer for 5+ years, seems like the celiac knowledge level is declining at lyfe in Palo Alto - I hope they get back to past standards!
Flatbreads are always awesome, and the menu is well marked.
I used to love this place they have gotten really bad in the last year or so. They are inconsistent about the gluten free tabs that are supposed to go in your food. One of the few times they did include it in my food it actually wasn't gluten free because of a mistake the kitchen made. The service has gotten really bad and the food has gotten bad. I ordered a brussel sprout dish and they brought it cold. When I brought it to the counter to ask them to reheat they acted extremely annoyed, it had always been hot in the past when I ordered it. The sweet potato fries were awful, mushy in the middle and burnt black on the ends. I gave this place 4 more tries over a years time hoping they would come back but it remained really bad. I wrote to them too they never responded. I rarely give bad reviews but they are terrible.
This used to be a favorite but has gone seriously downhill of late. They eliminated most of their GF items and are paying far less attention to quality. It's sad, really.
soooo yummy! Great food...
always always get sick here. interesting menu for non allergy people, but this was my last time trying it out.
I have celiac and I always get sick from cross contamination here. The staff recommends not eating here if you are sensitive celiac unfortunately
Some of the options may seem a bit strange (cashew "cream"?!), but just dive in – the food is amazingly delicious. The sizable GF menu won't leave you feeling deprived and there's even a tasty chocolate dessert. I've been coming here since it opened without any trouble at all and I'm wildly sensitive to wheat. P.S. The wine list features wineries normally found at *much* fancier restaurants. Au Bon Climat? Oooh, yes please!
they have a gf menu with several dishes to choose from. very healthy fair, loads of flavor. friendly service as well.
Love that they have dedicated gluten-free and vegan menus! Wish they had a gluten-free and vegan menu :-) Grilled artichoke, kale Caesar salad, sweet potato fries and chia water. Next time want to try chocolate budino dessert.
Delicious salads and gluten free flat bread. Love it there, will definitely be back.
update3: got sick for days! update2: I was up all night with itchy skin and upset stomach from crosscontamination. this means I have a week of depression and up to three weeks of fatigue in the mail. update: Now has dedicated equipment or prep area. manager is awesome and open to your kind feedback. may not be for everyone, but they are open and compassionate. they value us. that counts for a three star bump! stuff to be skeptical of: airborne flour all over the kitchen. udi's bread with icky xanthan gum giving you gummy tummy, corn tortillas made off site, nuts and berries not certified. shared grill.
I eat here regularly with no reaction. I enjoy most the menu items. However, I notice their dishwasher never seems to work that well and I pick up dirty glasses and forks which can lead to cross contamination. I'm highly sensitive but have been fine.
Tasty fish tacos and guacamole. Stopped in during a trip on Thanksgiving weekend.
Great meal. Gluten free Flatbread was delicious. Definitely coming back soon!
The flatbread pizza is GF and so, so good! Staff is friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating is available and they are dog-friendly.
Excellent food. Great gluten-free (and/or vegan) menu.. Loved it!
