Great food, overall good experience. Menu isn’t marked as GF but staff is very knowledgeable about what’s safe. Server went through menu item-by-item with me.
Ordered the oyster mushrooms and samke harra fish, both super tasty.
Overall really nice dinner environment, good atmosphere.
Newly diagnosed celiac here - Lyra was incredible. Our waiter took my menu and marked it up with what is and isn't gf. He clearly had been trained and was knowledgeable about cross contamination.
Had an absolutely incredible meal and so far feel great. I live in East, and this is my new go to restaurant!
I had SUCH a great experience at Lyra. The server was very knowledgeable about which foods would have gluten or cross contamination, and she was able to make great recommendations for food and drink. She did say they tend to have flour flying around because of the brick oven, but I didn’t have any symptoms of gluten exposure afterwards. It was a delicious, enjoyable evening!
I am shocked this restaurant wasn’t on this app. Staff so incredibly nice and SO aware of cross contamination. They don’t have a gluten free menu specifically but they are able to tell you what is gluten free and what’s not. They will tell you if any dish even is cooked in the same oven as a dish that contains gluten. They are so cautious and so informative. I had 2 staff members come out and go over each dish with me and where it was prepared in the kitchen. I have never been to a restaurant where they cared for my celiac concerns as much as Lyra did. Also as if that isn’t enough of a reason to come the food was amazing. So fresh and so unique, food that I feel you can’t get anywhere else. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.
