M Street kitchen served me wheat after I specifically told them I was allergic to wheat/gluten. I asked them if their Bloody Mary contained any wheat or gluten since I was allergic (celiac). The server assured me it was fine. I had a strong reaction and the server went back to the kitchen and learned it contained wheat oil. The manager apologized and said they take allergies seriously but my experience says otherwise.

Had a great experience! They walked me through everything that could have cross contamination and what was totally safe. They had gf bread that they toasted on the stove for me. Really good!

Went on a Saturday evening around 5 pm. Had a limited gluten free menu. Asked to speak/order directly with manager, Amy. She came to the table and discussed safe options for our daughter (celiac and allergic to all nuts (shared lines/surfaces), egg, and soy protein). Amy explained no dedicated fryer so tortilla chips would not be safe. Not a dedicated cooking area but they could easily clean/safely prep certain food choices. Discussed options of meat that could be safely prepared. We had come prepared with our own bag of tostitos. She safely prepared steak and provided cheese for daughter to "make her own" tacos. Management more than willing to work with you and completely honest about what can be safely fixed. Advice: Look at menu ahead of time and call to discuss options.

Not for Celiacs. Since they have been taken over by a big restaurant management group they have taken gf off the menu and are very clear they are not Celiac safe. They actually refused to serve me at breakfast once because they said that they couldn’t make my food safely. Appreciate the blunt honesty but it was with poor and rude delivery. We haven’t been back.

Honestly the host was seating only preferred people. We signed in and been waiting for about 30 mins and they were seating people ahead of us with no reservations. When the food came out, I specifically ordered a lettuces wrap burger and they brought me a burger with bun. The chef said for me to remove the bun and it will be ok... Not sure if they are aware of any cross contamination so be careful guys.

Very good. I would (and did) return. I had a great ahi tuna burger and cole slaw for late lunch/early dinner, and then returned the following morning for breakfast - spinach and cheddar omelet. The staff was very knowledgeable and pleasantly helpful with my choices. I have Celiac disease and had no difficulties.
