I really liked the cottage pie. It was lacking a little seasoning, but I had no reaction. Service was spotty, but friendly when we received it. I was stuck between 3 & 4 stars. But I went ahead with 4 since this item was safe and tasty. My parent who are not GF felt their food was a little bland as well.
Very confused by the reviews thus far. Only 3 items marked GF on the menu, and pizzas. What seafood options??? I had the Shepard's pie for $23...left hungry (lots of hiking today). Husband's corned beef entree was 3x the size and the same price. Waitress said it was mostly gluten free so I could try it (uh, scared by that...not marked GF on the menu but "mostly" safe???? What a load of bull). No salads, no appetizers are marked GF on the menu. Can say I'm not sick, but I don't think I should have to go to the grocery store after dinner.....
Not a ton of options unless you like seafood but good food with large portions. I had the chicken pot pit which was huge and comes with a mashed potato “crust”. It was full of veggies and very flavorful! Hubs loved the calamari and also the fried chicken sandwich (neither were gf). Knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff.
We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here a few weeks ago, and have also dined here separately from that. For the rehearsal dinner they put together an amazing menu with mostly GF options (I added mac & cheese and bread pudding at the end of the buffet which are not GF). The GF options that were served were a farmers salad, cottage pie, a potato crusted chicken pot pie, scalloped potatoes and roasted veggies. It was amazing and I highly recommend Ayden if you want to plan an event there!
I have celiac disease. My family and I ordered take out due to Covid. I got the cottage pie which was very filling and pure comfort food. My family ordered regular food and wasn’t super happy with it. Granted, the fries and bread for the sandwiches got a little soggy due to being packaged in boxes and then driven home before we ate it. Still, I think they would have liked it better if we ate at the restaurant...so we will try that when restrictions ease.
Food was incredible!! They cook gf pizzas on their own surface (same oven but no celiac reaction!), pot pies are made with a gf crust. Staff was very very friendly and welcoming, environment was fun and cozy. Must try pot pie and pizzas, arguably the sweetest and best gf pizza I’ve had!!
I had one of their pizzas. The menu doesn't specify gluten free for them but they do have GF crusts. I got the impression the pizza had been pre made and reheated, it wasn't very warm like a fresh baked pizza is. The crust was probably cauliflower based and the pizza was better than buying a one frozen from the store.
Fantastically tasty gluten free options, they even had gluten free beer! I'm even more limited than most because I can't have dairy either but they had 2-3 options for me to choose from. Service was good and very accommodating to those with food allergies.
Pizza was great, wood fired oven. White sauce was gluten free. Pretty good choices on the menu GF. Customer service is amazing.
