We hadn’t been to Maggiano’s in a while and I’m not sure why? Had a really nice dinner there this past weekend. Told the server I had celiac disease and he immediately went got the chef to come out for a consult. Chef was gonna make sure he walked my items through and oversaw that there wasn’t any cross contamination for me. Had a Caesar salad no croutons and the filet medallions with mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce. Both were excellent. Had no reaction afterwards. Will definitely be back soon!
A go-to of ours. Every time I have been there the Chef comes out and goes over the menu with me and takes my order. I’ve never had a bad dish there, and you get to have dessert too, which is often a no for us with Celiac. Highly recommend this place for those with Celiac.
This restaurant is amazing and the servers are very professional. I had a work meeting here, and my boss asked for the gluten-free menu( I have Celiac) . They had a separate menu, and they cooked everything separate , with no cross contamination. The manager came and talked to me and read the gluten-free menu.. She was very smart and careful. The food was wonderful, and the cream brulee was so yummy. I didn't get sick at all. 🤩
Tasty with generous portions. All the sauces are gluten free, and any dish made with smaller noodles can be made with their gluten free penne. So dishes like fettuccini alfredo, spaghetti with meat sauce, yes. Lasagna, no. A lot of the dishes that aren't pasta are also available gluten free too.
When I said I'm gluten free the chef came out to talk to me, which I didn't ask for and was unnecessary but appreciated. Explained their very thorough process to avoid cross contamination which put me at complete ease
Twice I've had normal noodles in my gf dish even after the chef came out to speak with me. The waiter and manager were very apologetic and gave my date and I free full size desserts and my meal was free. Luckily I noticed the noodles pretty early on so I was able to get them to make a new one without getting sick.
Dont tell me the menu is completely gluten free! Calamari Fritte? Nope. Eggplant Parm? Nope. Ok lets move onto all of the gluten free pasta- Ravioli? Nope. Fettuccini? Nope. Braised beef papardelli? Nope...hmmm GF bread for the table? Nope. Ok ill have the most popular pasta dish? Rigatoni D? Sure!!! Comes out with Penne!!!! Accck!!! waiyer didnt have patience or too much knowledge and hardly spoke to me for the rest of the meal even though i was completely disappointed . Of course i was charged full price for my meal. Will not be going back.
Delicious food and almost things can be made GF. The chef even came to the table to make sure I was happy with the precautions they were taking against cross contamination. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat!
I just left here, I was amazed by the service I received . The Chef came out to talk with me took her time to explain things to me, I have Celiac Disease so it was nice to receive this kind of service. My dessert was also amazing, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Home-made gf pasta, terrific Caesar salad, upbeat staff. This is a winner every time I travel in on business.
My wife and I have been here twice both times the cook has vome yo our table explaining what items we could have on the menu and the way they are cooked. Both times we got the 4 meals for $40.00 which is very cheap. I liked the meat pasta and my wife likes Alfredo. I recommend this for those who are looking for a nice meal on a budget.
I was in a large group of people and the server was very attentive to my special requests. He was unsure of the gluten free items, but went and brought the chef out to speak with me. Apparently their GF options are made with corn pasta, which was a fun surprise. I had never had anything like it and it was very tasty.
Loved it! Had the gluten-free rigatoni with white clam sauce and was delicious, enough for two meals. My other guest had an allergy to tomatoes, and when we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, it had tomatoes in it. He brought the chef out, who created for her a wonderful, sweet ricotta dip, and was very attentive to our allergies. I’ll be back!
