The first time I went here, they told me they could make chicken parm gluten free, so I ordered that. Well, what I got was an unseasoned piece of grilled chicken with an unmelted piece of cheese on top and some tomato sauce. Not good. The second time I went here, I ordered gluten free pasta. The pasta was undercooked, the sauce was watery and bland. I’ve never gotten sick from eating here, but the food is awful and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
The service was completely lackluster. The GM Matt came to our table and raved about how they have a full scratch kitchen and can make anything safe. My friend and I feel confident that this could be a good experience. Fast forward to dinner, my friend orders the Johnny's Carbonara with Gluten free pasta and has them add grilled chicken. It looks good, a few bites in something seems off, but he doesn't think anything of it. He is almost done and noticed there is a piece of fettuccine mixed in with his gluten free penne! Apparently someone in the kitchen wasn't paying attention when they made his meal! We had the manager come over and while they did comp our entire meal, that didn't help the fact that he spent the next several hours between the toilet and the bed. We will never be going back to any Maggiano's again. Not worth the risk!
We ate here for the second time after a great first experience. Tonight there was an issue with my GF pasta dish being overly salted so our server, Brendan, took it back and had another made. Unfortunately that was also so salty I couldn't eat it. The manager, Jeff, was so wonderful. He apologized and had the dish removed from the check. Unbeknownst to me, Jeff spent several minutes in the kitchen tasting each ingredient in the dish to find the source of the problem. Jeff surprised me with a third entree which was perfect. Jeff and Brendan went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. It is difficult to eat out as a Celiac. Finding a restaurant that accommodates my needs is always greatly appreciated, but what Jeff did to make sure I had a great experience went above and beyond. The Maggianos organization should be proud to have him as a manger.
A favorite for my family, and not too expensive if you order from the pasta section. Not many issues here, but one time we found spaghetti in my brother's gf pasta. They were nice about it, they apologized and gave us a new order (free of course), but it's also very concerning that the food could get contaminated so easily. We have gone back, and we haven't had any issues since.
I was here on a date a week ago and the waitress immediately asked about allergies. When I told her the chef personally came out and explained all the items on the menu that were gf. (Pasta and a lot of sauces as well as many other things). The variety was great and he even explained what the pasta blend was made out of. I felt so safe there and I could tell they took it seriously. Got the vodka pasta and it was one of the best gf pastas I’ve tried!! Highly recommend
Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had. The waitress and the chef were both very knowledgeable and accommodating. I have a severe gluten allergy and celiac disease and I easily get sick. Not only did I not get sick, the dinner was delicious with fresh baked gf bread. Everything was yummy and it didn’t hurt my tummy!!! Def going back again!!!
Very loud environment and extremely busy. Very safe to eat here. They have a scratch kitchen, meaning they cook all GF items separately and made to order. They offer GF penne pasta as the sub for all other pasta. And all dishes can be made GF. I had the chicken Marsala, was ok but most happy with it being safe and no cross contamination occurred. The creme brulee is always a must. We also ordered the rib eye and 16oz NY steak both came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The NY was definitely top choice! The Caesar salad was just ok (no croutons) and the maggiano salad was good
