We went here because of the good reviews for celiac, but when we told the waiter that I had to be gluten free due to celiac disease he didn’t write anything on his notepad or confirm anything. I had an omelet which should’ve been easy to make safe for me and now I am in bed with a gluten reaction during my Vegas vacation.
We normally stay on the strip when visiting Las Vegas, but decided to stay on Fremont Street this time to mix it up. We ate breakfast twice and dinner once at Magnolia's Veranda. They have a decent GF menu and the staff was knowledgeable. I had eggs Benedict on GF toast for both breakfasts with no issues (didn't have my Nima with me, but I'm very sensitive and didn't react)! I haven't had eggs Benedict in YEARS! The time we had dinner, I had standard steak and veggies, again with no issues.
They have a separate menu with gf items listed. Most items are or can be made gf. Gf bread available for sandwiches or French toast. Delicious cornmeal pancakes and Mag mud (bean and cheese dip). Great service, cute spot.
Last month after being assured everything was GF, it wasn't. Sick. This morning I went just to have some fruit and it was completely different. The server asked if I had celiac and told me the only really safe thing on the menu would be fruit and then told me I could have an egg. I didn't get sick but be careful if you eat here.
