Completely gluten-free menu! Staff was amazing and food was delicious. It was so good, I'm going to try to make arepas when I get home! I am visiting from North Dakota and this place was recommended by the Gluten Free New Orleans Facebook group. #GFFFM #GFTCM

Insanely good food! The best part is that the kitchen is completely gluten free so there is no need for a gluten free menu. If you have Celiac or gluten sensitivity, you MUST enjoy this place!

Pretty much everything here is safe. The waiter told us the only item, the Pollo Grilliao, was the only non-GF item because they add beer to the marinade. It was incredible, definitely make this place a priority!

What an incredible meal! Everything from the appetizers to the desserts are gluten free. It’s such a relief not to have to worry about cross contamination. And talk about packed with flavor!!! We had the empanadas for an appetizer, arepas for our entree and tres leches cake for dessert. On top of all that, the margaritas were to die for! This was one of our favorite meals during our five days in NOLA. I highly recommend it!

The arepas are more filling than they appear - the Mechada is out of this world amazing! I believe that everything but the dessert (cake) is safe, but make sure to ask because menu items change.

Amazing food and service! Everything on the menu is g/f (not sure about dessert). My daughter was diagnosed with Celiac 4 months ago and it was so nice to see her be able to order anything on the menu. This restaurant makes us wish we lived here and could go anytime. There was 6 people in our party and we all thought the food was incredible! Highly recommend. 🤩

So good! She said everything on the menu is gluten free (I’m not sure if that extends to dessert or not though). There was a long wait on Saturday night so if you don’t want to grab a drink while you wait, I recommend making a reservation.

Hidden GEM! 100% gluten free menu! My husband and I ate here on our last day in NOLA, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. We had yuca frita (fried yuca and chorizo) for an appetizer and we each had an arepa entree. They are huge and very filling! YUM!

Great meal & the staff really is very knowledgeable. She asked about all allergies and explained that basically the whole menu is gluten free. If you have dairy allergies, stay away from arepas, but they have plenty of options for all. Definitely check it out! Best meal I think I have ever had!

The staff was very knowledgeable! Food was excellent. If u can’t tolerate dairy like me, the arepas do have some dairy in them. However they have dairy free options like the empanadas, ceviche, yuca with chorizo, and salad. The empanadas were my favorite.

This was our 2nd visit. The food is amazing and the menu is 100% gluten free — including the desserts! I had the grilled chicken arepa with a side of chimichuri sauce and a little bit of cheese. My dining companion ate the Cerda, which is a pulled pork dish with fried plantains. The fried yucca is also a great appetizer. When I heard both desserts where gluten free, I had to try both. The tres leches dessert is the most delicious dessert I have ever had and the flan with passion fruit sauce is amazing. I recommend reservations, as the restaurant is small and fills up quickly.

Another great find in NOLA. The menu is interesting and almost entirely gluten free (except for one dessert). The food is reasonably priced and delicious. Reservations are recommended on the weekends because it is a small restaurant that is very busy.

Wow! This is when I am so thankful for this app! We would never have ventured here without FMGF. This was a great find. I ate waaayyy too much. We had ceviche, the tostones (they fried those up special for me). Then we get to the arepas...I had the machada, I think. It had maduros, pulled beef, mozzarella cheese. It was really good. The mojito was great too. I would put this restaurant on my NOLA rotation. It's that good. Cute little space too.

Arepas made with corn meal processed in shared facility, which is an issue for our highly sensitive Celiac daughter. Corn appetizer and skewers delicious and GF. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful, as many menu items Celiac safe. Will definitely return. Fried items, including plantains, not safe due to shared fryer.

The restaurant uses a corn meal that does not guarantee its safety, but since they don't have any flour in the restaurant it is a decent option if small amounts of gluten can tolerated.
