My brother (celiac) and I (not gf) went here and it was spectacular! The server knew exactly what we were talking about and what we needed. There was an allergy menu with gf options. Some more of the options can be modified into being gf. The server brought us gf bread, and each roll was both warm and individually wrapped. My brother got a steak dinner and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. He loved it.

This place is great! GF and DF pasta options at an Italian place may be unexpected, but they were SUPER COOL with custom ordering to accommodate us.
The GF pizza is above average, too.
It can be stressful to find GF and DF at Disney, but with a little planning it is pretty easy, and this is a gem at Hollywood Studios.

I got EXTREMELY sick here. I’ve been diagnosed with celiac for 7 years and i got the sickest i’ve ever been from the restaurant. My server was very nice and reassuring but something got very messed up. I ended up missing a whole day in the park.
FYI If for some reason you do get sick at disney from anywhere they will refund most anything for you :)

This has been my favorite place out of all the Disney parks! The atmosphere is very nice and was not overcrowded (like many of the restaurants at Disney). The service was very good and knowledgeable about allergies. The food was all delicious, I especially recommend the margarita flatbread (best crust ever!!!). Just remember to make a reservation here if you’re planning a trip to Disney.

I went here for my birthday meal and was treated amazingly. I had the margarita flatbread to start (which was like a whole pizza) it was gorgeous and tasted incredible. I then had the Mamma Italian Restaurant pasta as an entrée which was probably the best gluten free pasta dish i’ve ever had. Then to finish the waiter and my family sang happy birthday with a candle in the flourless chocolate cake, and although I wouldn’t say it was a cake but more of a mousse, it was delicious!! All the food was labelled as an allergy meal, my meal was the first to be brought out, and our wonderful server offered for the chief to talk with us or I could just order off the menu, which I ended up doing. The service and the atmosphere was incredible, I would highly recommend to everyone.

Great experience. They make all the food in a separate kitchen to avoid cross contamination. The food was delicious!

Great experience! Our waitress Jess was incredibly nice and attentive, she paid extra attention to my celiac disease and would check in specifically on how my food was, even though I was in a group of people that can eat gluten. The dinner rolls were excellent, they were separately packaged but still warm and delicious! I got separate dipping oil than my group to prevent cross contamination. The appetizer was good and the margarita flatbread was good too! Didn’t get sick, highly recommend!

We ate lunch here today. The waitress became annoyed when she found out I was gluten-free and told us that we should have reminded the hostess when we checked in. Mind you we had noted the allergy and our reservation... And in all the time that I've dined at table service restaurants in Disney World... I've never had to remind the hostess of my allergy. I'm a travel agent... So I'm down here a good bit. There was only one entree available for gluten-free... It was spaghetti. The waitress put in an order for spaghetti with meatballs originally... But I had to check with her twice to make sure it was the spaghetti with meat sauce... Not meatballs. Unfortunately, I think the meat sauce is just sauce with cut up meatballs in it. I found several sizable chunks of meatballs in my dish. The pasta was overcooked and just about to the point where it was mush. The worst dining experience I've had at Disney World. Do not recommend this place...

They have gluten free bread service (buns with oil and seasoning) that was very good. Ordered a pasta off the non-allergy menu (mama’s Italian pasta) and they were able to modify it so that I could have it.

Our food was absolutely delicious. Started with fresh mozzarella & tomatoes, then ordered the spaghetti bolognese & polenta cake (w/cashew cheese!). Both were cooked to perfection and not over priced. Also enjoyed warm individually-wrapped gf rolls. Had to make a reservation and everyone was spaced apart inside the restaurant. A great dining experience!

Chef Mark came out to speak with the two celiacs at our table. He was even able to make an off menu item to accommodate my vegan preference. The gluten free rolls were also vegan and came prepackaged. I had spaghetti with tomato sauce and zucchini. The other celiac at the table had penne pasta with alfredo sauce and zucchini. The chef was very knowledgeable about the ingredients.

Saw the review that someone was contaminated (I hope you feel better soon!) mere hours before we walked into the restaurant. We spoke directly to Chef Mark who personally handled all of our food and kept us safe. It tasted amazing as well :-)

This was one of the few places to give gluten free rolls. Thumbs up to that. They were great and I didn’t feel any reaction towards them. I ordered off a dietary friendly menu. All dietary needs were on one menu. I ordered the gluten free pasta. When the meal came, it was marked with a gluten free marker. After eating, I was instantly sick and suffered the rest of the night.
Accommodating with GF bread. I got a pizza and believe it was udis crust. Did not get sick.

This place rocks. Had my own bread my meal was fantastic. Dessert was great.

GF options were good. I had grilled chicken and penne pasta with cheese sauce which was very good. I got the cheese sauce on the side as I don’t like a lot of sauce. GF roll was tasty, but wish they had venice baking bread like disneyland. Chef Maria was outstanding! We ate here twice this week and both waitresses were great too! Huge improvement since our last visit.

I marked my allergy on my dinner reservation and they grabbed a gluten free menu for me without having to ask. now that's service!! gluten free bread was a nice surprise. penne pasta with grilled chicken was very good. they even had gluten free dessert but I couldn't finish my dinner.

Food was fine, staff wasn't very friendly or accommodating. It's Celiac safe I believe, however the food is average. Flatbread crust is Udis pizza crust I think.
Yes
Wonderful staff and delicious food! They let us design our own pasta dishes. My daughter had pasta with chicken and cheese sauce and I had pasta with chicken and marinara. Both were excellent. Portions were quite large so no room for dessert. Also served gf rolls which were tasty. Meals come with an allergen pick in them. Would definitely eat here again.

Gluten free pasta and steak. No pizza.

Chef Maria is Amazing!! She worked flawlessly with our multiple food allergies! She even created us our own personal dishes to be sure they were safe. They offer many amazing GF options, including pasta & yummy GF rolls (you don't just have watch others enjoy their bread & oil) & desserts (if you have any room left)! We visited Mama Melrose 3 times during this trip & each time we were so impressed with the service & the delicious food! They will not disappoint. We've never been sick & are extremely sensitive.

The service was fantastic and I love the ambiance. They had a wide selection of gluten free meals and were very accommodating to make any meal gluten free. They had given me a personal basket of gluten free bread and a bowl of oil For dipping. The pizza was more than delicious and I was more than satisfied with the taste. My waiter Kevin was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had a funny and very outgoing personality. It is a restaurant I would definitely recommend and return to.*

Love this place! Delicious gf rolls to start and the chef made delicious pastas for us-one with meat sauce and one with shrimp.
I had two great experiences here! I found the restaurant to be very celiac-friendly.
First time, our waitress was very knowledgeable. Chef came out to speak with me, took my order, explained the steps they take to prevent cross-contamination - which definitely put my mind at ease. They brought me gluten-free rolls (warm!) with a separate dish with oil/herbs for dipping - delicious! I ordered the caprese salad, GF penne alla vodka, and the flourless chocolate cake (with a scoop of vanilla gelato). It was very good, and I did not get sick! I ordered it again the second time we came. :)
I did feel a bit nervous the second time around - waiter was less knowledgeable (I told him I had celiac, and he said, "Allergy?")...and they were busy, and I could tell the chef was rushed when he took my order. But I didn't get sick, so thumbs up for that!

We went here for dinner yesterday and had an overall good experience even though it started out bumpy. We have 4 kids but they never eat all of their food so we told our waitress that we wanted to use 2 adult and 2 kids dining plan meals. She said "No! that is not how this works." After explaining to her that we do not want to see the dinner show we figured out that she is actually very nice, just very abrupt. she brought me my own basket of gluten free rolls and a seperate dish of oil. yum. I ordered the Strip Steak and it was really good. It came with a side of gf penne with white cheese sauce that my kids kept stealing from my plate. I ordered the cheesecake for dessert. it was just ok. it was pretty good with the strawberry sauce but there was very little of the sauce. I left half of it on the plate. Overall a good experience.

We ate dinner here tonight. We had a great experience here a few years ago so after reading the other reviews I was a little concerned. However, we had a fantastic experience. The server was wonderful and the food was excellent. My 11 yo celiac daughter had the chicken pasta, I had the pasta alla vodka and my husband had he saltimbocca. Everything was delicious. The server brought a basket of gf rolls before our entrees came and then we had some more with dinner. For dessert, we shared the cheesecake and the flourless chocolate cake. They were both good. If I were to compare this to Tony's at the Magic Kingdom, I would say the entrees are much better here but the creme brûlée at Tony's beat the desserts here....just because creme brûlée is not an ordinary dessert. I have uploaded pics of our food and the current allergy menu. We will be eating here again!

Horrible waitress, horrible food, not a lot of options. we came here years sgo and loved it. So disappointed very big waste of money!!

Gluten free pasta was soggy tasteless and the cheese sauce was horrible. Caesar salad and gelato were good however

Food was standard GF pasta, but something was cross contaminated because I got sick soon after. I won't be eating there again.

Good GF options to choose from. Segregated area for GF pasta, good GF meat/cheese antipasto appetizer, and GF rolls. Chef comes out to greet.

Excellent GF experience! Several menu options including appetizers, entrees, dessert & warm rolls at the table. Highly recommend.
GF pasta, savory marinera sauce. The chicken was average. The tuna was good with a great risotto
