Mamasan's Noodle Caboodle Restaurant

I’ve eaten here many times- GF is marked easily on the menu. However recently I went and could not stop throwing up after eating from here….. not sure why. I’ve never thrown up from gluten so it could’ve been something else. Gunna avoid for awhile :/

Ordered pad Thai Gluten-free but got violently sick. I think the noodles weren't gf but might have been cross contamination. I called the restaurant and they said it was impossible and I should just not eat there anymore

The service was great….however I was definitely glutened. I ordered a Thai noodle bowl (their version of pad Thai with chicken) and a Thai iced tea. Was in a work meeting about 3 hours later and I could feel myself feeling sicker by the minute. I don’t generally get contact reactions (like if my food was near other gluten) so I think it was definitely the actual meal. So if you try this place don’t get the (pad) Thai noodles

Menu is clearly marked which items are gluten free. I had the chicken Thai rice noodle (kind of like pad thai?) it was pretty good, lots of veggies. I was nervous at first because they didn’t look like rice noodles but I felt fine even the next day so they must have been. Also tried the chicken satay which was good. My boyfriend got the pork lo mein (NOT GF) and said it was good as well. Will definitely go back to this place.

I was a little disappointed. A lot of the ratings are 5 stars but we thought the food was just okay and overpriced. I am extremely sensitive to wheat/ gluten and I did feel symptoms after eating here. 😕 The staff though, was very nice. Although their items are clearly marked gluten free I told the waitress I had a gluten allergy and she did not understand me.

Staff is so nice and the food is delicious! Everything is well labeled on their menu on what is gluten free. Never had an issue there. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Rochester.

One of my favorite spots for a delicious, inexpensive meal! Food is always great and so is the service. I’ve eaten here many times, usually getting soup and a rice dish and have never been sick afterwards.

Wow. Tasty! So glad I found this place! Had fresh spring rolls, and a cashew rice dish. My wife had viatnamese pho and spring rolls (non GF).

We love Mamasan's! everything is so good! a lot of gf options.

Large menu of vietnamese and Thai fusion cuisine. All of their rice dishes and many of their appetizers, Noodle dishes, and soups are gluten free as well. Great food and reasonably priced!
