We attended Christmas Eve and found that while the waiter struggled to understand my questions there was a lady who may have been the owner/mgr who knew what she was talking about. She told me the tamales weren’t safe because they’d added soy sauce to their recipe. She was able to show me what I could eat safely, and I had no issues. Note I always take gluteguard as a precaution when travelling.
Not much understanding even after reading my card... Did end up eating hard shell tacos with meat after lengthy attempts to explain. Felt like it was everyone's first day with little understanding of their own menu
I went in with an allergy card explaining the celiac and they were very attentive and showed the kitchen staff. They came back and let me know what I could and couldn’t eat.

Corn Tortillas are Gluten free and they will do their best to accommodate and avoid cross contamination. Place is a local favorite and food is delish!
