Dedicated Gluten free menu, amazing being able to eat dumplings again, we had them panfried 🤌🏻, as well as got Mongolian beef and satay chicken, then deep fried ice cream for dessert. Everytime food was placed on the table they announced “gluten free…(dish name)” which was very comforting. Will be back again!

Seperate GF menu with enough options to choose from, has been updated since last visit and includes some dessert options. Have tried a few different vegetarian menu items and they have all been nice.

My first time have dumplings in my life and these weren’t nice at all, the chicken was watery and they in general just tasted fowl. The cashew chicken main also wasn’t very nice… couldn’t even finish half of it. Staff also seemed to have an attitude when asking questions about the food.

Mixed experience! I ordered the gf dumplings - not very good, sadly. I so wanted them to be. The prawn fried rice was excellent. I appreciated having a dedicated gf menu. Went with friends who ordered from regular menu and they seemed to enjoy.

There was a significant variety of GF Options on the GF menu. The staff were knowledgeable about Coeliac disease / cross contamination and were very helpful. The GF dumplings and spring rolls were particular highlights for us. The Mongolian Chicken Curry and the Chicken Satay were also very good.

I’m really sensitive and ate there and was absolutely fine. I had the pork pot stickers, the bock choy and the chicken friend rice.

Food was delicious, very safe and authentic Chinese food. Haven't had a nice Chinese meal in years, so was great to be able to try this place. Separate GF menu also caters to other requirements such as vegan/veg, dairy free which was great since we also have dairy allergies in our family. Will be back for sure.

My friends and I wanted to try this place and we chose it knowing they had a gluten free menu to cater to my coeliac needs. I contacted Mao Please via email a few weeks prior to ask about their gluten free safety practices. I got a quick and detailed response within the next day stating that although they have a shared kitchen space they have separate utensils for gluten free meals and have assured me they use all gluten free sauces in these dishes. They also told me the manager and head chef have completed courses regarding food safety and have passed this knowledge on to other staff. They had a separate menu for gluten free that included types of noodles, noodle soups, rice, dumplings, etc. GF pork dumplings and beef fried noodles were delicious.

My mum and I had a great lunch here. Delicious GF dumplings, beef with black bean sauce and broccoli with oyster sauce. They had a separate GF menu and the serving sizes were quite big. I’ll definitely be back

I am coeliac and veggie (for 25 years) and paying 18 dollars for a bowl of flavourless rice noodles with a little bit of Bok Choy and a few pieces of carrot and with no flavour except a bit of soy sauce makes me feel a bit resentful. The meat options sound ok according to the other reviews, but if you are coeliac and veggie, please just go to the supermarket and get instant noodles. They are more flavoursome, interesting and way cheaper than the ‘veggie’ noodles here.

The menu also stated ‘gluten free black bean sauce’ but when I asked, the waitress said they don’t have that. It seems like they’re just putting things on the menu to attract coeliacs but not actually providing anything worth eating for them.

Great! So exciting to eat Chinese again. Very tasty!

Great Chinese restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. A small but delicious gluten free menu is available. The mongolian beef, noodles and pan fried chicken dumplings were all delicious. Staff were knowledgable and reassuring about gluten free requirements.

A gluten free Chinese restaurant! They’ve got a separate menu with GF options. I ordered the pan fried noodles with beef which I could have happily eaten for dinner. But when my pan fried pork dumplings arrived, I regretted filling up on the noodles. Next time, I’m going to order two (maybe three) orders of dumplings and a bowl of rice. It was that good.
