The waiter reassured me not to worry about gluten cross contamination. When my meal came out they accidentally brought me the gluten version and my waiter quickly came and said it was the wrong one. When I received the correct order I used my Nima tester and it detected gluten.

Great vibe. Lots of gluten free options for pasta. Server confirmed they used separate water to boil the GF pasta. Had some really good baked gluten free bread. Server seemed knowledgeable. Gluten free food brought out with a GF wooden popsicle stick to confirm.

I had a great experience here!! I had some gf Italian bread with olive oil before my meal. Then I got the gf fettuccine and meatball (gf penne) and it was BOMB. It had marina and Alfredo sauce with a huge meatball covered in marina sauce. I haven’t had a meatball in so long it was absolutely delicious!!! Most of their menu is gf which is amazing!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I took the advice of the person recommending the chicken parmesan and was not sorry. they have gluten free bread and desserts and appetizers. Everything was fantastic. My food came out just slightly after my sons and had an allergen marker suggesting they took my Celiac very seriously. Loved this place.

Delicious food. Server said they have a separate kitchen and change gloves and take every precaution. They have multiple different pasta types, bread, and certain apps can be made gluten free (including the meatball)

Excellent food! We had GF Italian bread (amazing) with olive oil. Appetizer was another kind of GF bread (like naan bread) with melted pecorino cheese, apple slices, and honey- LOVED that! Main course was GF fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The pasta was soft and delicious and the Alfredo sauce was one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend! Every dish was marked as an allergy and the server verified as it was delivered. They obviously take it very seriously .

Wow! Amazing gluten free bread (for only $1), ravioli is delicious and boiled in separate pasta water, pizza is cooked separately, really impressed! Even the girl I spoke to on the phone was familiar with celiac. Would absolutely eat here again!

They have a wide variety of GF options: breads, pasta, pizza. The server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients in dishes and had tried most of the GF options. Food came out marked with a “allergy” flag. The gnocchi is 100% potato flour and was delicious. I’ve also tried the GF burrata and pasta, and both are very good. A friend tried the GF eggplant parm (sub breading for rice flour) and thought it was good.

The gluten free options at Marcella’s were extensive. They have a separate oven for gf pizza, separate water pots for pasta, and also many normal items on the menu, like chicken parm were gluten free. Our waiter brought out some tasty gluten free bread before the meal. I ordered the chicken parm with pasta and it was the best I’ve had, even before CD diagnosis!! My plate came out with a little allergy flag. I’ll be back many times!!

PRE-COVID: So good! They have gluten free ravioli and gnocchi! They are very aware of cross contamination and I did not get sick!
POST COVID: I am very sad to say that after ordering take-out, they have been terrible with glutening me. The first time I did take out, I got violently ill. I spoke with the manager and it turns out they gave me the gluten gnocchi. I ordered GF meatball penne and found multiple gluten linguine stands (they only have Gf penne). I’m pregnant and can not afford to get sick so I will not return here. Ever.
I will say both times management was nice, they claim they are refunding my meal tonight.

I Did Not get sick! Wow!! I Never eat at pasta places because it is too risky. Ever. Before I was diagnosed I would all the time, and my husband misses them still. We were in town and saw no negative reviews on find me gluten free, so we went for it. I am a human gluten detector and get a migraine within 30 minutes of tiny tiny traces, so I know when A place has done their job or not. My family of 6 all went and 2 of my children are intolerant so we all ordered Gluten free to try each others. Gluten free cheese Ravioli! With truffles! Wonderful! a bit small though. Yes gluten free foccocia style bread. Yes wonderful fresh gluten free pizza with awesome Crust, not udi's, fresh dough. Separate cooking area, and oven. Only pastas available are penne, gnocchi, and Ravioli. Which is awesome, I would love a spaghetti or fettuccine. But still awesome. We order a second order of breaded, chicken parmasean, our second order was much smaller. I don't know if they ran out, or were over taxed in the glutefree area? I can't handle sending gluten free food back, because I worry they will be mad and not as cautious. They do usually have hand made gluten free meatballs, but we're not quite ready at 4 when they opened, and needed another hour so we missed out. Overall totally awesome, get ravioli, chicken parm, and pizza!!
Yes
Great place to find gluten free pasta and good portions— I had some leftovers! The staff knew about celiac and were very helpful, they even have gluten free bread to put out if you want some before your meal.
Yes
Absolutely fabulous. Took care of me and made sure everything was safe.
Yes
Had ravioli and pizza for the first time without having any issues afterwards — totally gluten free and celiac smart!
Yes
Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and there are so many delicious options!
The gluten free bread to dip in olive oil was a treat as was gluten free gnocchi! The service was great too. Top it all off with gf ricotta cheesecake and it was a perfect experience!!! Our server’s name was Cody. Highly recommend requesting him!
Amazing experience. Very knowledgeable right at the start, and food was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

My initial contact with waiter would have normally made me run for the hills. Me: are any of your signature cocktails gluten free? Waiter: they all are, none are made with beer😬. Turned out only their manhattan was gf. Luckily, due to all the perfect scores I pushed on. They hand cut all of their gluten free pasta. It is not listed on menu, but you can get ravioli and gnocchi in addition to other noodles. It was very good. They also make their own gluten free bread. Highly recommend.
Yes
Haven’t been but I’m assuming this place has flour floating all over the place if they make from scratch stuff, they also probably share equipment to make their gf stuff. This makes me nervous and sad that my fellow celiac don’t seem so think about that. Just because you are asymptomatic doesn’t mean you are not causing damage
OMG! This place is amazing!! They make their own gluten free bread and pasta!!
We are always so nervous to eat out but we had a great experience at Marcella’s. The staff were very ice and the gluten free menu is extensive including antipasto, cheeses, salads, appetizers, pizzas, pastas, and entrees. We had the carpaccio (comes over a bed of arugula), caprese salad and chicken Marsala. All were delicious and, more importantly, no one got sick (Celiac Disease). A little on the loud side but not too bad. Everyone looked to be enjoying themselves.
They are EXTREMELY celiac friendly and have a huge gluten free menu. When I told the waiter I was gluten free, he assured me (before I could even ask) that they would take extra precaution in the kitchen. He brought me gluten free bread, that they make fresh, to the table. I ordered gluten free chicken parmesan, which they do bread with gluten free breadcrumbs. It came with a side of gluten free pasta with Alfredo sauce. I’ve been diagnosed with celiac for 5 years now, and have never come across a restaurant this accommodating and delicious.

One of the best places we have ever been post Dx of celiac! Wonderful food, very friendly staff! Absolutely recommended. And worth the wait!
Yes
I told the waitress I had celiac and she brought out gluten free bread. I got pasta and it was amazing. I didn't have any reaction.

Great dinner at Marcella’s! Server was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable and safe! Meal was great. I will be back!
The staff was very knowledgeable. The appetizer and dinner both were very good. I would go back if I was in the area again.
Staff is very knowledgeable, the food is wonderful and they were able to accommodate my corn and soy allergy as well.
Yes
We had dinner here last night. Two adults, two children. Two of us with Celiac. They were very accommodating. They have a great GF menu including bread for the table. They answered all questions and reassured us even as I asked multiple times to verify that the pasta was GF.

I was super impressed with how comfortable this restaurant made me feel and how great the food was. My husband noted that I have Celiac disease when he made the reservation, and they automatically gave me a full gluten-free menu that even included cocktails—all with prices (one of my pet peeves is GF menus that don't list prices). Our interaction with our server started with her bringing gluten-free bread for the table. Then she went over the specials and noted which one was gluten-free. I ended up getting a caprese salad and that special, which was risotto with taleggio cheese, chicken, mushrooms and truffles, and both were incredible. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

Actually went to the Polaris location. Very extensive GF menu and they GF seriously. The bill had "Allergy Gluten" marked on my selections. They brought me GF bread to dip in olive oil. I got a Caesar salad that had yummy Parmesan crisps and also ordered a pizza because of previous reviews. It was a flat bread pizza and rather than tomato sauce there were tomatoes. Very good meal and enjoyed eating outside. Highly recommend.
My daughters have celiac disease and ate at Marcella's without any problems. They loved their pizza! Staff were very knowledgeable and reassuring about how food for celiacs should be prepared! Thank you!
Yes
My wife has Celiac disease with dairy intolerance, and enjoyed the food with no reaction. She had the roasted cauliflower appetizer, Marcella's chopped salad, and penne all a Arrabiatta. She said the penne dish was spicy and delicious.
I tried the GF chicken parmesan (unbreaded with cheese), which tasted amazing. Good GF pasta (penne). The food was amazing, and the environment was warm and welcoming. We'll definitely come back when visiting Columbus in the future.
Yes
This was great! The food was amazing, as well as the service! I would highly recommend. There is a designated gluten free menu and all workers are aware of gluten free. No complaints at all.

I have Celiac disease!! Marcella's was delicious!!! No reaction!!!

Outstanding food, fantastic serve, great wine! The gluten free bread that comes with the meal is the best focaccia style bread I've ever had!!
YES. Ordered a take-out gluten-free margarita pizza and it was delicious! They have an extensive GF menu (which is great for celiacs like me). The GF dough was not an up charge like at many other places, so the cost was totally reasonable. Cool atmosphere. I want to go back and try more!
Yes
Seems like they are good about cross contamination and everything, which I appreciate. But I got a pasta dish for pick up and the serving size was a box the size of my hand, for $16! Small for the price. I had the carbonara which is my go-to pasta and truthfully I didn't really like theirs much even aside from the price. UPDATE: went another time and got a gf 4 cheese pizza and holy mackerel that was good! They also gave me gf bread which was awesome. I'll be back for the pizza
Food is DELICIOUS!! I was traveling for a conference decided to do take out. Got a sausage, mushroom, black olive pizza (I posted a pic) it was so stinkin good. Olives are a bit salty so I'd leave them off next time. GF bread with my order was the selling point! It's a focaccia style with seasoning and a side of dipping oil; it was soft and delectable. You should absolutely visit this restaurant!!
Yes
Great place to dine! Offered GF bread when we sat down. Variety of options. I ate pasta, which is freshly made and delivered to the restaurant. Appetizers were plentiful. Staff is very knowledgable and curtious. Overall wonderful experience!
I was very pleased and surprised to hear from our waitress that the gf pizza and bread is prepared at a separate station ,separate oven, pans, ingredients etc How refreshing! Finally someone tAking cross contamination seriously!
Yes
I was thrilled with my experience eating here. The food was divine. To start, they offer a GF bread that is quite good. I split a GF mushroom pizza with taleggio cheese and truffle oil as an appetizer. I thought I had died and went to heaven. To say it was delicious is a complete understatement. It was the best GF pizza I’ve had since I went GF over two years ago. And I’ve tried a lot of pizza… My main dish was GF gnocchi with a lamb bolognese sauce. It was to die for. It was the best gnocchi I’ve ever had, GF and non-GF, and I have eaten lots of gnocchi (including homemade). I could not be more pleased with my meal, and I will most definitely be going back. Service was phenomenal too. Says allergy in like eight places, which made me feel safe. HIGHLY recommend the melted pecorino cheese - comes with the pizza crust as bread (delicious) and apples to dip. So, so, so very good.

We are visiting Columbus from out of town and tried this resturant based solely on the great reviews on here. This restuarant is such an awesome find! Such a great variety of GF menu options it was hard to decide! We had the warm olive appetizer to share then I had the shrimp and lobster risotto with my own little plate of their DELICIOUS GF bread dipped in my own plate of EVOO. The bread was topped with herbs and had more of a "quick bread" texture but tasted amazing. I thought my days of warm bread at my table in a resturant were over. Such a treat!

Really excellent communication about GF procedures. Called ahead and confirmed they could accommodate celiac needs. The food was great, Cesar salad, entree of chicken piccata came out marked “allergy” on a little sign. The GF cheesecake dessert tasted so good I was in disbelief that it didn’t contain gluten.
