GF pizza was really delicious. Toppings were wonderful, and I satisfied my craving for pizza without eating wheat. Nice! The staff is really nice.
Some of the best GF pizza I've had!
Had excellent GF pizza and there is an online gf menu - standard cross contamination warning sticker on the box.
Although they don't have a gluten free menu, they do make the best gluten free pizza in town. They also have gluten free salad options.
Went to Marcos website, no GF menu. Yelp and Urbanspoon has no mention of them being GF either.
Offer GF crust, separate utensils used(cooking sheet/pizza cutter) but still other non GF items prepared in the kitchen. They give the warning of "this is not a dedicated kitchen, not safe for Celiac", explained CC to the person taking our order (Brandon). He said he would use separate toppings not already on the line so that there would not be CC. Felt fine afterwards. Giving 5 stars because he made the GF one first and used toppings not already on the line. Brandon was also very friendly and accommodating!!
Really good gluten-free pizza in a decent size (12" medium) for a decent price, something that's hard to find around here. Only Brunetti's Express way up in Mechanicsville has a larger gluten-free pizza. There is a risk of cross contamination, but the kitchen is very clean and they appear to take precautions to try to avoid it. Definitely worth a try.
I am really sensitive. I have never had problems, great dough high quality! they will add they're medium coupons to the GF
I think they're new to the gluten free game as their website didn't even show it. I called and they offer a gluten free medium crust. Was delicious and I haven't had any type of reaction. They aren't a dedicated gluten free facility though so they put a warning sticker on the box. They do take precautions as best they can not to cross contaminate but they just don't guarantee it. Anyway, delicious pizza and I haven't had any type of reaction. They deliver as well. I will be back.
Decent local chain quality. Manager seemed very knowledgeable about GF needs and assured me they are careful. Their GF prep area is not totally isolated but I did not suffer a reaction to the pepperoni pizza I had yesterday. I would approach cautiously if you are super sensitive.Their crust is pretty good and the sauce was decent. I'm quite happy with the amount of cheese. It's the same amount as some places call extra cheese.
This location does have medium GF crusts as of this review. I thought it was definitely above average compared to the other chains.
I will say the Pizza was good but not for Celiac disease. unfortunately I'm new to this and ordered the gluten free crust and we payed for our order for me to find a sticker on the box warning about cross contamination. I tried it anyway and ended up sick from it. For those who aren't as sensitive it's great but for those like me it's not good.
One of the managers is a Celiac and is very knowledgable and has trained everyone how to handle the gluten-free orders. Although they don't 100% guarantee there will be no cross-contamination, I've ordered the GF pizza many times and have had no issues. The pizza is very good!
I have not tried it yet, but I did call the briargate location today and they still do gluten free there. Looking forward to trying it. My rating doesn't apply since I haven't tried it yet.
Not gf anymore.
