BE AWARE: Their menu front shows and says GF chicken and waffles (has the gluten free symbol on it), went to order it and they said the waffles are GF while the chicken isn't... so why advertise it on your front page that it's GF? They said they can sub for grilled chicken but then again, why say on the menu its GF while it isn't... Got the chorizo breakfast hash, was super yummy but it tasted v similar to the "Brewed Awakening" same dish without waiting an hour and a half to get in... If you're going on a weekend, expect to wait at least an hour/ hour and a half and sitting in the parking lot (we went to the mall 10 mins away after being told it's going to be an hour and a half wait, and when we got a call to come back we did straight away, and they gave our table to someone else and told us to wait another 20-30 minutes...). Food was good but they should just make an online reservation system and have a separate GF menu with the correct dishes (not just partially GF but whole gf dishes)
I’ve gone to Maria’s for over 4 years and never once got sick. They can make pancakes, sandwiches, waffles, and French toast gluten free. The Owner cares about all who come in and the waiters are knowledgeable- even double checking with the chefs on if an item has gluten ingredients or not. It has a shared kitchen, but they are very careful and I have never felt scared of cross contamination- even as a symptomatic celiac. Can’t recommend enough!
