Had an excellent experience here tonight! Told the waitress I had a gluten alley (celiac disease) and she walked me thru the whole menu what I could have. I ordered a Caesar salad and it. Came without croutons. It was greats to go out and felt like they really cared about my dietary restrictions. Great place!

Great dinner at Marina cafe. Their menu is mostly gluten free but it is not marked that way. Our server was very knowledgeable about what was safe or not and helpful in making sure my food was safe.

I was nervous about going out to eat and called ahead to verify that they could accommodate gluten-free. They assured me they could. When we got to the restaurant, we again let them know my friend and I were gluten-free. We ordered a drink that was brought with graham cracker crumbs around the rim. My friend took a drink before realizing this; after having a reaction, the server took her drink back and remade it. I asked again for him to make sure the food was gluten-free, as I was nervous since our server simply looked at the menu and said, "Yep, you should be good with all of that." and had already brought us a drink with gluten. He brought our fish out, and it was crusted in bread crumbs (panko). I took a bite, thinking that he must have ensured that it was gluten free after the number of times we asked about it - it was not, and I started having a reaction right away. Sure enough, when he came back, I said, "that's panko". To which he responded, "It's not flour." And I had to explain to him that it contained gluten. They remade the dish fine - but ultimately had 2 major disasters and did not offer to comp anything. My allergy is not as severe as some people's Celiac. I would have been so sick if that were the case. They can do gluten free here, but I wouldn't feel confident that it's a guarantee. If you do go, I would be very insistent that you talk to the chef.

I stressed I had a very sensitive allergy and they accommodated! Made me nervous at first because the waiter had to double check what was gf, but I didn’t have a reaction and the food was very good.

They don’t have a specific gluten free menu or indicators on their regular menu but the staff is well educated and could tell me what dishes would be safe and offer modifications to any that weren’t. Worth the price as the food was the best we found in Destin (I had the scallops).

The atmosphere was great! Definitely a $$$ restaurant. No gluten problems but service was inattentive. My shrimp was served with mashed potatoes and had a brown, grVy- looking sauce. It took us 10 minutes to get our waiter back to ask about it. It wss not gravy. Food was yummy though.

Delicious food, beautifully presented. Royal treatment. What's not to love??
Great food! Great view! Great service! I got the grilled Wahoo and it was delicious!! The fire roasted edamame succotash and it was a perfect accent to the fish. The drinks were well mixed and the staff was very well spoken on wines. I had NO problems with gluten, my waitress was well spoke in it since her daughter had Celiacs. đź‘Ť Everything can be modified but most of it doesn't need to me. I can't wait to go back to Destin to visit this place again.
