I’m torn about this one because I got glutened but there’s a story to go with it. I told the waitress I’m Celiac and I need help with the menu. She went through the whole thing with me and even marked up the paper menu. I thought everything was going to be great! I ordered and we got the first course (pear and endive salad) and after we had started eating she came back. “I checked in the kitchen about your whole order and the salad maybe had a little bit of white soy sauce in it. I’m so sorry!”Maybe. Little bit. Well at that point the damage was done. I stopped eating the salad and the rest of the meal was fine but I went home and had a terrible night. She was very apologetic and my guess is she just missed that one ingredient in her head. This is the kind of place with a menu that changes all the time so I don’t exactly blame her. I would trust this place still but maybe ask a lot of questions, or at least more questions than I did.
