Our GIG group recommended this place (they even hosted a dinner there). Our son has celiac but he is asymptomatic so it is hard to rate a place as celiac friendly. Anyway, food was good. Options were plenty and staff seemed knowledgeable!
good options but make sure they understand what gluten free means
I hate to do this because of their awesome selection on the menu, but last night I definitely got glutened. I asked for my meal to be made gluten free, but within two hours I knew my food was contaminated. Good was very good, not not safe for those with celiac disease!!
No
Great place!! Love the grilled zuchinni with ground beef. Knowledgeable about gluten free issues. Much of the menu is already gluten free and notates it so you can request it that way!
Yes
LOTS of options and food was wonderful.
Very excited to have this huge gf menu in Roanoke. knowledgeable staff.
Yes
This used to be one of my safe go to restaurants. We just went in and the manager said they have backed off their gluten free protocols and are not as careful about the gluten ingredients. She said she not risk eating here because of cross contamination.

In town for high school band competition, thought I’d give them a try. I am so glad I did. Menu is clearly marked for GF items and I even got to have a burrito!! Food was delicious. Waitress was very kind and wasn’t sure about a meal question I asked, she said let me go ask. I highly recommend!!! I don’t know about cc, I’d probably say there is. I am not Celiac, but super sensitive. No issue for me.

They used to be a safe place for GF and tasted good but the food wasn’t that great and they no longer are gluten free. We asked what was available that was GF and the waitress wasn’t helpful. She sort of shrugged her shoulders and said I’d probably be fine with a taco because meat doesn’t have gluten. (We all know ground beef isn’t always safe at a Mexican restaurant.)

Called after Skillman location closed, was told nothing is safe. They no longer care to serve the gluten free community.

Love this place, but do dad that they’ve done away with their gf menu! For years we’ve made sure to stop on every visit from Oklahoma just to have their chili relleno. They are no longer making it :(. You can still get one grilled, but not a gf breaded one— which was absolutely the best!
