Love the Prime Rib dinner, it’s ALWAYS cooked just as ordered. Pair that with a baked potato, and the steamed veggies and I’m in heaven! The dinner salad is also delicious, love the fresh house made dressing and it’s all served on a cold salad plate. Service is always great, and love the cozy bar chairs. This place is consistently awesome, and one of our favs.
Tonight was our first visit to Max Dale's. Our dinner started out great. The server was very knowledgeable about what could be done GF. Most of their menu is either already GF or sauces/spices can be changed to make it GF. Unfortunately, that's where the positive ended. The service was slow, my "medium" steak had no pink and was dried out, and the creme brulee was the worst I've had. I was really hoping we could add Max Dale's to our list of places to return to because it is local, but we won't be going back.
My 13-year-old son has celiac disease and is quite sensitive. He has eaten at Max Dale's twice now without having a reaction. He ordered the Top Sirloin, roasted vegetables, and salad with honey mustard dressing. He said it was great.I am gluten sensitive and I had the Seared Salmon: Pan seared Salmon topped with spring pea pesto, and placed on a bed of wild arugula and potato crisps with smoked shallot dressing, fresh vegetables and beet-balsamic dressing. It was delicious. The waitress was so friendly and helpful. She checked with the kitchen staff before recommending gluten free salad dressings. She also made sure my son's steak was cooked on foil to prevent cross-contamination.
