This location of McAlister’s is the best! I eat here probably once a week and have never gotten sick! They have gf bread which isn’t bad. If you tell them it’s an allergy they won’t put it on the grill (cc). Their baked potatoes are also delicious! Love this place and feel very safe eating here.

They have a gluten free menu and quite a few options. The gf bread is decent.
Excellent gluten free experience. I had the pepper jack turkey sandwich on gluten free bread and fresh fruit. They took special measures to avoid cross contamination. The cashier was knowledgeable and helpful regarding the gluten free issue.
I've always loved their sandwiches but now that they have gluten free bread I'm loving them even more!
love love love McAlister's gf menu. I try to get a different sandwich every time I go. my favs are the grilled sandwhiches. We eat there once a week. I will say while on vacation we stopped at a McAl out of state no gf menu no gf bread. disappointed. thankfully we live 1 mile away from one that has gf knowledge. Sorry to hear that anyone has had a bad experience there.
I have celiac. When you order a sandwich, you MUST explain to them you have a severe allergy and to change their gloves and avoid cross contamination. A lot of people do not think about toasters, and the staff is not actively trained in allergy protocol. They do not have a designated toaster. A manager informed me to not order my sandwiches toasted. So, if you have a severe allergy, I recommend ordering your sandwich hot but NOT toasted. It is very apparent when it is toasted because you will see the lines on the bread. I have eaten here numerous times with no issue, and the staff is always extremely willing to help. I am very sensitive to gluten.

We eat at the McAlester’s all the time! Ask for the manager Rita. She is amazing and will take good care of you. We get sandwiches, baked potatoes and salads that are GF. They also have several GF/ DF options. Always a great experience.

I’d like to preface this by saying we eat at our local Mcallister’s all the time and it is excellent. Maybe that’s why we were so disappointed in our order from this location. We got two different baked potatoes to go and the toppings were minuscule compared to the potato. They didn’t include any butter, sour cream, plastic ware or salt and pepper. By the time we got back to our hotel and discovered everything we were missing the entire meal felt like a waste. The food that we did eat didn’t cause any allergic reactions but the experience was a total bummer.

They have a decent gluten free bread so I can order a real sandwich! Staff takes precautions against cross contamination, and there are plenty of options on their menu for celiacs.
