I had a box lunch that was made "gluten-free ". The lunch included a sandwich made from Udi (i think), chips, and a cookie. Two hours after lunch, I became violently ill. I writing this five days later, and I'm still so weak I can barely work. I'm a teacher, I was with 40 students on a trip visiting OSU, this is not a good situation to be in as a teacher, being in charge of a bunch of teenagers, and you can't keep your head up.
Ordered a cheese steak sandwich on their GF bread. I was super disappointed with it. The ingredients t are nice, but the bread disintegrates at the touch. Be prepared to carefully eat with a fork.
Gluten free bread! You can get almost any sandwich, manager friendly and helpful with allergen lists. Don't forget dressings that may need to be switched out. I had the turkey and pepper jack cheese with plain mayo on grilled gluten free bread. Really good!
I made sure when ordering to ask them to change gloves, etc. And I tell them I will be very sick for a week if there is cross contamination.I had a great turkey sandwich tonight and POTATO SALAD! I ordered food to go as well. I appreciate the time and effort to make my food safe. And I tip because I am grateful for that extra work.
