I’ve gotten sandwiches on gluten free bread, spuds, and salads here several times and have never gotten sick.
We talked to the manager who was very knowledgeable about gluten-free options. When ordering the employee was no afraid to go ask for help with gluten free options and then the manager took the time to train him. When our food arrived they told us they had changed gloves to prepare our sandwich and salads. Would definitely eat here again!
Turkey is processed, slimy, bland.
Most of menu is a variety of something else.
French dip beef was rainbow tinted with makes me think old.
About the best thing on the menu is the soups.
Many seem to like the place but I have high standards on food and this isn’t even close. Pass.
I don’t know if I trust after eating gf bread I think. I had severe abdominal pain.
I'll admit, the first few times I went here and had to sort through the allergy list, the front house staff was not knowledgeable about gluten free and it was tedious. However after familiarizing myself with what my options are, I have no problems. The cooking staff is much more knowledgeable and I have never felt bad after eating here. I simply let the person taking the order know I have a gluten allergy (I know, not accurate, but easiest to communicate for the sake of restaurants) and the kitchen takes care of the rest. It really boils down to me being a well-informed and active celiac when I eat out.
This location does not have gluten free bread. I give it 1star for GF. otherwise 4 stars.
We were here today and the food was excellent!! I got a Spud Max and it was delicious.
They have menu items that are tagged as for “ gluten sensitivities “. They have some good things to choose from.
It was really good.
For three days after this I had very bad gut pain and other tummy issues. I may have been cross contaminated. That’s the only thing I ate all that day.
Bummer.
They mark what items are gluten-free on their menu. It’s not a huge selection but you can get potatoes, nachos, or a couple of soups. While at first the girl at the cash register didn’t seem to know what we were talking about, once we told her what celiac was she took it seriously. She put it in her register that they were to change their gloves then went and verbally told them. I got a chipotle ranch potato, and it was great!!
Edit: 10/5/24
In addition to the potatoes, which are still great, they offer gluten-free bread. The manager is very cautious about allergies, they told me not to get chopped bacon as it can be cut with the same knife they cut bread with, and to ask for whole slices of bacon. Still one of my favorite restaurants to go to!
The GF bread is ok. When we went the staff was not aware about how to handle the GF orders or what sauces were ok to order. Bread is toasted on shared toasted. Sometimes they will but foil over it to protect the bread but sonetimes they don't. Last time here manager informed me when they are busy they cannot guarantee that they can accommodate special instructions on orders. Wasnt happy to be told after we ordered but i understand that when busy they dont want to make promises they cant keep. We will not return and do not reccomend foe celiac.
