Went here for a work dinner with colleagues, and reviews on this app seemed pretty good. I told the waitress about my condition and she needed to check with the kitchen/managers, but said any of their meats, fish (plain), and veggies were safe. I ended up ordering the filet mignon, and asparagus, which also came with mashed potatoes. No reaction to my knowledge in the hours afterwards. Food was delicious.
I let them know I'm Gluten free but not celiac. They immediately offered me a GF menu. Could not have been nicer. There were more items on the regular menu that I ordered modified (no soy sauce on the Coast to Coast Tuna) and they were so happy to oblige. Really impressed with the service. And the food was great too. Well done M&S Atlanta!
I ate dinner at this restaurant in October 2024. The food was, of course, very good. I had the Crab-Stuffed Salmon which was one of the Chef’s Specials. (see photo).
There was no GF menu nor was there any marking on the menu. However, the server did seem knowledgeable about my choices.
Obviously all the steak are gluten free. Most appetizers were suspect except for the shrimp cocktail and (blech) raw oysters.
The only GF dessert available was the crème brûlée although I believe they also have a flourless chocolate mousse.
One note: a previous review mentions the Maple-Glazed Salmon with Risotto. At this time, at this restaurant, the risotto is made with farro (it WAS stated on the menu) so it is always good to double check any ingredient permutations.
We used OpenTable to book the reservation. I didn’t see gluten friendly items clearly marked on the menu, but I had indicated the need for gluten-free options in the app and we were well accommodated by our server and the hostess at the restaurant. The server, Anthony, was a rockstar! He had a family member who had celiac, so he was incredibly well versed in gluten-free options, including cross contamination potential. I had a salmon dish with bourbon brown sugar glaze served over cheesy risotto with a butternut squash purée that was gluten-free. Delicious!
Friendly front of house staff, but kitchen staff may not take enough precautions. We ordered fresh oysters, steamed clams, and grilled salmon from the gluten sensitive menu (available upon request, menu pic from previous post is still available in 2024), but I had lots of brain fog after my meal. Server seemed knowledgeable and assured us they put the entire table’s order in as a gluten allergy, but there must have been some cross contamination in the kitchen. It’s a shame they aren’t more careful as this is one of the few options in the area/at Harrah’s.
