They are very adamant about how NOT SAFE the kitchen is. Avoid if you are celiac or sensitive.

This is not a 1 dollar sign establishment - once you pay the upcharge for a GF bun, their hamburgers started at about $15. That was about the cheapest thing on the menu for lunch. Having 3 kids, we left rather than pay $100+ for lunch.
The waitstaff at McMenamins Sand Trap Pub were helpful and the atmosphere was laid back and comfortable featuring a fireplace and rustic vintage details. The food was delicious and there were plenty of options available on the "Dietary Restriction Menu" which listed items for gluten, dairy, vegetarian, and vegan needs. Gluten free buns, gluten-free pizza crusts and ciders were available. We'll be back!
Gluten free fryer available 🙌🏼 I usually do a burger without a bun and I’m fine. But mostly come for the fries. And a fun atmosphere in the Woodshop!

So frustrating. We’ve been coming here for years and depending on who you talk to the fryer is or is not gluten free. Even tried to send a nice email to the manager and he responded at first and and then stopped communicating and would never directly answer my questions. I wouldn’t do it.

Was told that my meal I ordered was gluten free, and ended up getting very sick. Staff was not knowledgeable about what was actually gluten free and what wasn't.
Told them I was celiac then received my food which was prepared in shared fryer. Also they could not verify that the salad dressing was gluten free. Returned my order and left :(

Very small menu for GF but options are labeled and I was sure to mention I have a gluten allergy. I ordered the southwest rice bowl and added chicken. It was delicious and no issues.
