The server was well-informed about celiac disease; explained that they have a separate fryer for French fries. She brought any gluten items out that my family chose in separate dishes and made sure there was no cross contact. I am a very sensitive celiac and felt totally fine afterward. We had brisket, ribs, baked beans, and the garlic fries were my highlight.

We had two substantial takeout meals from MEAT when recently visiting Edmonton, and they were both outstanding and very memorable meals. We had a wide range of food including the beef brisket, smoked chicken, beans, multiple different salads, and chips. Everything was sensational. The serving sizes were very generous and the food was amazing. Very highly recommended.

Great comfort food place! They have plenty of options that are GF, and my favourites are the brisket and pulled pork. They are often switching up the sides available but some favourites have been the mashed potatoes, cauliflower, and cabbage. Great place to go for sharing or great to order and get multiple meals out of. They offer brunch as well and it’s one of my favourite in the whyte Ave area as it’s always tasty but never has a wait! My only wish is they had espresso drinks in the mornings, but definitely not a deal breaker.

Staff was awesome! We were there for brunch and my waitress went through explain my options and how they would be tweaked to make them safe! They have a separate fryer to so their hash browns and fries are safe! I will be back!
