Review of Mellow Mushroom

Let me start by saying I have a Mellow Mushroom near my home, so I had an idea of what to expect. However, our server must have had an off night. I ordered a gluten and dairy free pizza with 3 toppings. It seemed to take a little longer than usual so I was really disappointed when my pizza came and there was regular cheese on it. Since I am lactose intolerant, eating cheese tends to flare my fibro. So i asked for it to be remade and ordered a salad in the meantime. When the next pizza came out it only had two of my three toppings on it. At that time, the manager came out and apologized and said he would take the pizza and salad off of our bill. Well when it was time to go, the server brought us our bill for the full amount. We explained what the manager had said, so he went to see. Then we asked for a container for my salad, pizza, and drink to go. He only brought pizza box. After a few more tries we were good. I gave it four stars because the manager comped the pizza and salad and having eaten at the local establishment, I knew this was not the norm.
