I ordered lasagna. The server was informed about gluten-free and checked with the chef for details. I was told that gf pasta is steamed in a clean skillet. My meal was delicious! I had no reactions. I am very sensitive gluten intolerant.

I initially called to ask some questions about their gluten free pizza and pasta, and got ahold of Aldo, who was wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful, and said I could ask for him if I had any questions. Melo's offers gluten free pizza, gluten free lasagna, and they can make almost ANY of their pasta dishes with gluten free pasta! There ends up being tons of options (I don't think there are any gluten free appetizers, though). The pesto sauce is fantastic! They are very careful about contamination - they have separate cooking water and sauces for the pasta, separate trays AND toppings for the pizzas, and of course the gluten free lasagna. They also have a gluten free chocolate torte which is wonderful but very rich. Note that the little lemon candies they give you at the end of the meal AREN'T gluten free.

Love the pizza. Eaten here many times and never been sick. A little pricey. I always tell them it’s an allergy.

My favorite place to eat! In 2 years they have never made me sick
Yes
There is no pizza anymore, and they offer exactly two expensive full dinner entrees or a salad. The gender-neutral bathroom was disgusting. There was urine all over the raised seat and floor. I would not eat here even if I could eat gluten.

Delicious gf pizza. They also had gf pasta and dessert options.
Yummy GF Pizza, best by far that we have tried. Really busy on weekends so I tend to go on weekdays, however they really look out for the celiac customers!
By far the best gluten free pizza I ever had. I've tried a lot of them, nothing comes close. Was going to eat in but the place was packed on a Saturday night.
Yes
I get DELICIOUS gluten free pizza here! I tell them I have an allergy (I'm Celiac but it's always easier just to note an allergy rather than explain) and they take flag it to the cooks.

I asked the server what precautions they take with their gluten free pasta and pizza. Shechecked with the kitchen told me they cook the gf pasta in the same water as the regular pasta, and they cook the pizza in the pizza oven on the same surface as their regular pizza. They only have 2 gf options, and both are salad. It shouldn't be hard to use a different pan and water for the pasta or to use a pan for the gf pizza. Why label something gf when it is not? I gave them zero points for safety if possible, and items are marked gf on the menu when they should not be.
