When I asked the server about the option for the gluten free lobster roll, I was told that it wouldn’t be recommended that I order it if I have a “severe allergy” and cross-contamination could not be avoided due to having fans on. Pretty frustrating/disappointing (and odd) to hear this after having ordered a lobster roll on a GF roll in the past, though not for a few years. Not sure if this response is server-dependent based on the recent reviews. Would love to get a celiac-safe lobster roll but I won’t be coming back here unfortunately.

I love Menemsha Fish Market! The owners are wonderful and VERY careful about what I can and cannot eat, and everything is delicious!

I saw the 1 star review about them being too busy to make their GF items. I’ve lived here for years and the only item I can’t always get is their GF chowder. Everything else is always available. And the chowder is worth coming back for if they are ever out!

They were very clear about what we could have - tnevoptions can vary based on what they have in stock, but we all ate very happily and safely!

Wife has celiac and was able to get the lobster roll on gf bread. Very careful about cross contamination.

The hot lobster roll on GF bread was delicious! I was impressed that they asked if I had celiac. They also have GF chowder in their cooler case.

This place is AMAZING. They have gluten free hot and cold lobster rolls, gluten free lobster mac and cheese, and both are to die for!! The people who own it are wonderful and it is hands down one of my favorite places to go on the island.
