I went here and the food came out with gluten free stickers. The sauces were alright but personally I just didn’t get excited about the taste as much.

Literally had the best and safest experience at this restaurant. The waitress I had was the sweetest and super knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free, I didn’t worry at all about the safety of my food. The food itself was amazing and it comes w a gluten free allergy sticker as well. I will definitely be back and I 100% recommend.

Delicious food! Wonderful, knowledge waitress who steered me away from a soda that was not GF. It’s clear they know GF. Highly recommend.

WOW!!! Mostly everything on the menu is gluten free and celiac safe! I told our waitress I have celiac and I am allergic to gluten & wheat and she was so helpful! They use separate fryers and clean and prep the surface for gluten allergies. The food was AMAZING and the sauces were fantastic!! This is my new fav place!

Fantastic Venezuelan Arepas and Empenadas, naturally gluten free and they take protocols for separate preparation if you mention you have celiac or an allergy!

I had a super awesome experience here! The food was so good, and I haven’t had empanadas in so long. It was heavenly. I also ordered a custom arepa, but the empanadas were my favorite. The waitress warned me that GF orders take a bit longer than regular orders to prepare, and it didn’t take long for my order to come out. I’ll definitely be returning here! Food comes out flagged too. The waitress also asked me how I found out about this place, because just today, they got 7 or 8 GF orders.

Cannot recommend this place enough, so much of the menu is gluten-free (including empanadas) and if you note a gluten allergy the food takes longer because the kitchen takes extra precautions to make sure the food is safe from cross-contamination. Delicious food all around, a must-visit.

What a gem of a restaurant. I often travel to New Brunswick, but had never been to this restaurant before - and what a find. There is loads of choice, the staff are great and the food was delicious. And it’s all GF labelled when it’s served.

Just when you need it … a restaurant restores your belief in being able to enjoy foods that you simply can’t find GF easily! These amazing empanadas (and other foods) are worth crossing state lines for. I moved to Virginia many years ago but I have another NJ restaurant that I will go to every time I visit my family here. They are so allergy aware and make communicating your needs while online ordering a snap. And OMG the empanadas. Did I mention the empanadas?

I went here based on the good reviews on the app. They did take the gluten allergy/celiac seriously, but not my dairy allergy. They included cheese and sour cream in my order when I specifically asked them not to. When they remade it, they still put sour cream on it. Eventually we gave up and left. Sad to have had this experience because I was expecting a lot more from them.

The food is amazing. I've had all of the arepas by now. If you order gluten free, they will prepare the food in a dedicated gluten free fryer. The staff is very careful and accommodating. My favorite restaurant to eat at. I never worry that I will accidentally have gluten there.

This spot is awesome! I love arepas and have eaten arepas at many different places and these were among the best. I also had an empanada which I haven’t had since before I was GF (it was amazing). I only had the vegetarian stuff and there were good options. Definitely will be going back.

Love the arepas and have not had any issues with empanadas. Excellent service and a very cute local establishment. Celiac safe so far (have ordered 15+ times).

Arepas and empanadas are made without gluten. Apparently empanadas are made in shared fryer—I am not celiac just gluten sensitive and had the empanadas twice and had no reaction and they were really delicious. According to the other reviewer on this app the arepas are made on a separate grill so they seem to be totally GF

The arepas are gluten free! They said the arepas are made on a grill that only uses corn based foods. Unfortunately, some of the other items are cooked in a shared fryer, but the staff was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions.
