Great restaurant! The Mai Tai was awesome! Has some kind of pineapple foam on top. I had the chicken because the waiter recommended it. Normally I would never choose chicken eating out because I make it so much at home but I am so glad that I listened to the waiter. THE BEST CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD! I substituted the potatoes and got brown rice instead due to possible contamination issue with cooking methods.
They were very careful and helped me choose what would be safe for me. I did not get sick from eating there. When we first arrived they brought up the fact that I had celiac because they actually read and remembered from my online reservation that I had mentioned that. It made me happy to hear the waiter talk about cross-contamination because that showed me that he knew what that was.

I’ve eaten here several times and enjoyed it - menu isn’t marked but staff is very knowledgeable. Ive done the salads with grilled fish or the burger without a bun (they don’t have a gf bun). Options are limited but food is good!

Nothing on the menu itself is marked to be gluten free but the waiter was very knowledgeable and double checked everything with the chef. Best food we’ve had in a long time. Incredible incredible food. And I didn’t get sick!

It was good, but not as good as Haleiwa Joe's and it cost a lot more. The cocktails weren't very good. Definitely not worth $14 each. I had the special, which was crawfish risotto with Mahi mahi. It was naturally gf so no modifications were required, except to use cc precautions. I didn't get sick, and I'm a sensitive celiac. It was tasty. We made a reservation and showed a photo of our Covid vaccination cards and our ID and wore masks until our food and drinks came. For dessert, I went down the block and had Lin's Snack Foods Shave Ice for $3 after a walk on the beach.

Almost all of the entrees were gluten free or could be made gluten free. The menu did not have items marked but the waitress was able to answer my questions. The food was phenomenal and the live music was amazing!

Menu was not marked but our server was knowledgeable about what was / could be made gluten free. Unfortunately, many gluten free dishes involved removing elements, but what I had was safe & good. They also brought us homemade vanilla ice cream at the end of the meal, which was the highlight!

Went here twice in one day! Stumbled upon it for lunch and ate at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation. I had the filet mignon with rice and green beans, which they were able to do gluten and dairy free. It was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a while and I’m a pretty big steak eater. Couldn’t find another place for dinner without a reservation on a Saturday night so came back and was able to be seated outside despite no reservation. I had the iron skillet chicken with Yukon gold potatoes and mushrooms. So flavorful and delicious. The wait staff was knowledgeable and double checked with the chef if they were uncertain. Would highly recommend. My non-GF husband enjoyed the food very much too!

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local. The restaurant has a really nice modern romantic but casual atmosphere. I ordered the fish ceviche which way is fish with coconut milk, scallions, served with uala chips. Waitress described it to me as a Polynesian type ceviche oh, it had a really good and unique flavor. I also ordered the street prawns which was served over greens. The prawns were cooked to perfection and well flavored. I loved the mixed fruit punch which was pineapple, orange, and cranberry juice. We didn't have a reservation so our choices were to sit outside or sit at the bar due to the heat we decided to sit at the bar. The service at the bar was outstanding, super friendly and helpful. All of the staff were knowledgeable of what was gluten free, and if they didn't know they quickly went to the back to double-check.The food here is moderately priced. They do have a parking area in the back near the loading dock. They also tap on a 2% service charge for the kitchen staff.
GF options were great and good was delicious!

Worth the price in my opinion. The server went through each item on the menu with me to go over what’s gluten free and there were plenty of great options. They are currently serving a prix fixe menu and I went with the oysters, filet, and the lilikoi pot de crème, all of which were amazing. Great fine-dining setting with beautiful views and live music, highly recommend!

Best food on the big island, most knowledgeable staff for allergies/GF.
Downsides are 1) no GF menu (but, again, very knowledgeable staff) and 2.) it’s expensive (but I’d argue the value is better than most higher-end restaurants on the big island)
