I got the GF bread and did not get cross-contaminated! The bread was really good too, not crunchy like GF bread usually is. I was bummed their online ordering platform didn’t have a space for me to mark my allergy or add a note; so I had to call them to order my take out but they were very nice.

Amazing! Their gluten free bread was also delicious. First time having merritt’s since celiac diagnosis. Was as good as ever.

I was at Merritt two days ago and they do not have gluten free bread (they used to but no longer do) so if you are looking for a sandwich you will be out of luck. I was very disappointed as I was visiting from out of town and was looking forward to a BLT.

So so so good. The GF bread was delicious and didn’t feel sick after.

Always a must-stop in the Chapel Hill area. Best BLT I’ve ever had, especially delicious with pimiento cheese. So glad they have amazing gluten free bread!

Loved this place for years. So excited I can eat here again! Staff is very knowledgeable & careful, asks lots of questions, and confirms exact order when delivering. I recommend getting NO Mayo on sandwiches. They have mayo packets at the condiment station :)

cheap but good coffee, the kindest staff ever, and legendary BLT's on GF bread!

Adorable place with a helpful, friendly staff. BLT is out of this world and to have it on thick, delicious GF bread is heaven!

They use good GF bread from a local bakery. You have to pay a bit more for the bread, but their sandwiches are DELICIOUS.
