This place is amazing! They have a whole separate gluten free menu and can substitute many thinks to make it celiac safe! The bread is so good and soft that I had someone else try it just to be sure it was gluten free!( It was :) 10/10 will definitely eat there again!

This is smaller than other Metro Diners I’ve seen. Very busy but the staff seemed very calm which made for a nice atmosphere. Decent separate gf menu. I specifically went due to reviews that mentioned how good the gluten free toast was. And it’s true!! They use UDIs white bread which surprised me. Server was great. The bacon was cold if that matters. Home fries were delicious. Server told us there is a separate area of the grill that they use to cook gf foods. Didn’t ask if they use separate utensils

The service was very good. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free options. The GF menu contained mostly breakfast and lunch options. I had the 2 eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns. Another time I had the avocado on GF toast. It wasn’t as good.

Had GF grilled cheese and chili. The grilled cheese was barely toasted. The chili was good. My plate came with gluten CLUB crackers that were wrapped, but I didn’t end of getting sick, so that’s good
I eat here all the time. Best gf toast ever!

Fabulous atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and a really yummy GF sandwich. There were plenty of GF choices. My only wish would be for more desserts, but maybe it is healthier for me that there wasn’t.

The food is delicious. The staff takes precautions when preparing gf items, but some items may be made on the grill with non gf foods.

Delicious gluten-free BLTs!!! I’ll definitely be back.

This was an excellent visit. I ordered an egg sandwich on gluten free bread and the server asked if it was an allergy. I said yes and she took her ipad that they take orders on and marked up gluten allergy. That indicates to the kitchen to use he dedicated space for my entire order to avoid any cross contamination. It was delicious and reassuring to know they take that seriously. Highly recommend. Great variety. They also have a gf menu you can ask for.

I love Metro Diner. They are incredibly accommodating, have a large gluten free menu, and take careful precautions. Their gluten free substitutions are very high quality (the sandwich buns are some of the best gf buns I’ve had, you can’t even tell) and many of their items are already gluten free. I’ve never gotten sick here, or at any Metro location, and the waitress here even went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable. Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and I feel great!

They have a gluten free menu upon request. Servers were very knowledgeable and were upfront about the fact that there was no fryer dedicated to GF food. They recommended substitutions for fries and tater tots because they couldn’t ensure that fries would be safe

I called and they said they had no gluten free options for some reason. Went anyway and they had a bunch of good tasting gluten free options

My mother-in-law ‘loves a diner’ and Metro is our spot - about once a month. I’ve only been diagnosed w celiac disease for 3 months so I’m still navigating it all but I was very impressed w/ Metro. They do not have ‘GF’ indicated on the menu but I’ve had multiple waitresses be very aware and helpful when I tell them ‘celiac’. I usually get an omelet and grits and GF toast. FYI - I asked and they buy Udi’s brand (from Publix) - which is actually very good GF bread.

The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I do wish they had more child friendly GF options though. My daughter had mashed potatoes and veggies and was happy but it was a little unremarkable.
